I miss you my dear son, the pain has grown and grown.
When you walked out the door that day if only I had known.
That I'd never hear your voice again saying "Mom I sure love you!"
Son this is so very hard on me, I just don't know what to do.

Mom, I'm here for you to try and help you understand.
That I have not forgotten you and try to lend a hand.
I see your tears flow every day, as you wrap yourself in pain.
But Mom you've got to move ahead, get on with life again.

But son it's just so difficult, the pain just runs so deep.
Thoughts of you just crowd my mind, even when I sleep.
The days just seem so endless, the nights my enemy.
I just want you back Michael, here right beside me.

Mom,I know you wonder about the last few moments before I died.
I wasn't alone there Mom, there was an angel at my side .
I felt no pain, I wasn't scared, my thoughts were all on you.
Please believe me Mom, there was nothing you could do.

But son I can't imagine my life without you in it anymore.
Every day I still expect to see you walking through the door.
Please tell me that you'll be alright and I'll see you again.
My sweet and precious son, I feel my life has come to an end.

Oh Mom if only you could see that Heaven is just so great!
And it is simply a place where for you I will await.
God has assured me Mom, we will meet each other again one day.
To spend eternity together and with each other stay.

Thank you Michael for words so wise and comforting my dear one.
I am the proudest Mom because of everything you've done.
You never let me down son and this I hope you know.
I see now this isn't goodbye, even though you had to go.

Mom I love you and you're in my heart each and every day.
Memories of you I took with me the day I went away.
Take care of our family and know that my love is there with all of you.
Mom in Heaven I am an angel..but on earth you are one too.
