Internet
access will be from the
District Office Hub. It will be a Frame Relay WAN link.
A PIX Firewall will provide security between the outside world and the Washington District WAN core.
The Public LAN from the District Office will host the district's web server and the access router.
The WAN core will consist of three regional hubs (DO, Service Center, Shaw Butte Elem.)
The
WAN core will be connected via sets of 4 each T1 lines.
The protocol between the regional hubs will be PPP
The
routed layer 3 protocols will be IP and IPX
School
sites will be connected to their local regional hub via T1 lines unless
otherwise notes.
There
will be an ISDN connection to Community School in place of a T1 line.
Each
Routers at a WAN hub will be
Cisco 7206.
1 each 1-port 100Base FX
module and
3 each 8-port Multi Channel
T1 (CSU/DSU and PRI)
Routers
at each school site will be 3662 unless otherwise noted
1 each Single-Port 24 Channel
