So now I've made this News & Articles I've recently found quite a lot of articles, so decided that I would just go ahead and post them all up in here Well here I will try to keep everyone all updated on 2Ge+her and the actors in the movie. Its really hard to find out stuff, but I'll try my best. August 6th "The Hardest Part..." single has been released and is available in stores!! Woohoo, I found it in Target, but I'm sure any decent record store would carry it. It also contains the track, "That's When I'll Be Gone" which will also be on the upcoming release. Its totally great, BUY BUY BUY, support the boys!! Ok, also if you have seen MTV lately, they are now actively promoting the series!! There are two different commercials I have seen, SO GREAT!! 12 7:00 PM July 28th so it seems I made a little error, but everyone does!! so the album is gonna be called "2GETHER:AGAIN" and the picture is in fact for the single, "The Hardest Part....." Which is a totally awesome song, that I totally love, its soo funny. Man I can't wait for the series!! But if you haven't downloaded the song yet, i can't imagine why not, get your butt over to mtv.com now!! Also enter the contest that I already described. so the weekly tv series (yay!!!! ;o) is set to premiere August 15th @ 10:30pm. Man i cannot wait until they go promote the heck out of this! Here's the synopsis of the premiere from MTV.com: 2gether the TV series picks up where the tremendously successful same-named made-for-TV movie left off. We find the five boy band members -- Jerry O'Keefe, Mickey Parke, Jason "QT" McKnight, Chad Linus, and Doug Linus -- living (um) 2gether (heh heh) in an incredibly cool house that their new record label totally pays for! They seem ready to take the music world by storm, but what kind of industry issues and pressures await them? well this is gonna rock!! July 19th The 2gether series has been filming up in Vancouver and is now set to premeire August 15th at 10:30pm, during the 10 spot. Ohh I can't wait!! Get your VCRs SET!!
Also to coincide with the tv show's release, the sophmore 2gether album will also come out. It's titled
"2GE+HER:AGAIN", also a song on the album. Here's also what I have read to be the other tracks on the album: Keep checking back at the TVT Records site for more info on the latest album. TVTRecords.com It is also rumored that a video has been shot for "The Hardest Part...." and their will be a Making the Video for it sometime in August. But this is only rumored, so I cannot guarantee this yet. Also on the TVT Records site, they have tour dates for the guys with Britney Spears!! And I'm thinking that these are pretty reliable, being on one of the official 2gether sites!! They are as follows:
Also I was informed yesterday that Hot 101, a radio station out of Youngstown, Ohio, has played the new 2gether song, as part of their like battle of the new songs. (or something like that, not sure of the exact name) Anywho, the song will play again today, and everyday after it continues to win, at 9:30pm. But don't worry if you don't live anywhere near there, lik me. Hot 101 has a website from which they broadcast live!! So check it out, esp tonight!! Hot 101
One last thing to mention, is that now 2gether is becoming more and more popular and seem to be poping up in just every teen magazine. For example:
Noah Bastian and also the cowriter and singer of Whoa's "Rub One Out" and interviewed in the August issue of Popstar! Also other teen mags, such as J-14, SuperTeen, 16, etc. Have all recently featured the guys and inluded pics!! So keep your eyes open for more!! That's all for this update!! The 2000 Mtv Movies (which MTV you know will play out TO DEATH) feature a very short (i mean SHORT) shot of the 2gether guys, well its mostly Michael you see (LOOKING FINE!!!) So anyway, watch the *NSync performance with your vcrs ready and then tape the very end of it into the commercial break. When the are showing the sponsers the camera goes up the aisle and you can see Michael. Its sooo great. But its best to tape it cuz then you can slow-mo it and get a glimpse of Evan and Noah also!! The awards next air: Next, Evan recently made a brief apperance in the new Shaft movie set to come out this coming weekend. I've been told he's in some of the trailers on tv, like getting hit in the face, but I have yet to see it.
Also you've gotta check out the Disney Channel original movie Johnny Tsunami featuring NOAH!! This is set to air: May 3rd This just in..... Alex has filmed an episode of the Nickelodeon show Cousin Skeeter. I dont even know what that show is, but hopefully I'll have more later, like dates and times!! Ok, just a few little updates for today, I'm feeling pretty crappy and I'm ready to go doze off soon..... So first of all the episode of Just Shoot Me, with Alex Solowitz, called "Fast Times at Finchmont High" will air May 16th @ 9:30pm on NBC!! So be sure to watch!! Check out June's issues of Seventeen and Teen People they both feature little blurbs about 2gether in them!! I of course went out to get them right away and get them!! So check back soon and I will definently get them posted up here!! Also the boys WILL be back in studios soon to record a sophmore album. Its release will coincide with the premeire of the series. April 23rd Well, I'm back from Spring Break and just got back from doing the whole Easter family thing!! ANYWAY, I've just heard some news and wondering myself whether to believe it or not, but it has been said that now 2Ge+her will be opening a few shows for Britney Spears. But I also heard that Michael would not be joining them!! I'm wondering if this is really gonna happen, supposedly at the gig the guys did, Alex announced this, soo who knows?? Also, it has been said the entire group of guys will hit the road for a short tour, ACROSS THE EAST COAST!! (sorry, but FINALLY they'll be where I can see them!!) I'm really hoping this will happen, but as for now, no tour dates are known. As I've heard, this has come STRAIGHT from Nigel; the guys will be coming out with a new album. Who knows, I'm a little skeptical about this one, but it is supposedly CONFIRMED! There will definently be the tv show, and definently 8 episodes of it. I read this at eonline.com and so it has been confirmed MANY MANY times that there IS going to be a show!!
Well I will be in touch with more soon, hopefully with tour dates..... April 20th Well if you didnt know by now, all the actors have been signed to be in the 2GE+her weekly TV show. Its so far, set to begin taping this summer up in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, where the movie was filmed! When the guy were on TRL last they were discussing this and talking about possible story lines. As for Alex Solowitz aka Mickey Parke, there have been all these rumors that he has been signed to be in a real boy band, but I havent heard anything future on it. But Alex has said that he is to appear in an episode of "Just Shoot Me" with Melissa Joan Hart. I was watching "Just Shoot Me", which airs Tues @ 9:30 on NBC, and they had previews for upcoming episodes and clips were shown for the one with Melissa Joan Hart. I did not see Mickey but it only was a 30 sec clip. The story lineis that supposedly Finch (David Spade) goes under cover in a high school to do an article for Blush magazine. So that was said to air in May. I'll update when I get more info!! Recently I saw Kevin Farley on a new ABC sitcom. Not sure of the name, but he had a small role. I'm pretty sure it was a guest spot though, it was just cool to see him on tv. The IOMEGA Zip Drive commercial that Noah is in and the Midol commercial that Evan is in, are both running now. So look out for those! Also Noah Bastian and Michael Cuccione were both featured at Teenmag.com in a Who's that Babe article, so go check the archive there and read all about them!! |
