WINE MAKING:
Traditional
use of stainless steel fermenting tanks and then put in oak barrels for
12 - 18 months aging. As with many traditional Bordeaux chateaux,
egg whites are used for fining.
TASTING NOTES:
Deep, black
cherry colour and full of fruit. It has a fleshy structure and generous
flavor that is typical of a Pauillac. It is an especially fine selection
with lamb and will partner well with all red meat dishes. In a normal year,
Chateau Artigues needs 10 years minimum to reach its peak.
