Jim Foose, Jr is a Spectator Stock Driver who began his racing career in 2000. Jim began racing in the Spectator Stock division at Lorain County Speedway in South Amherst, Ohio. Jim has battled issues with sponsorship, car failure, and money to be competitive. In 2001, Jim made an attempt at a full season. The attempt lasted 13 weeks until the first car was destroyed in a crash. 3 weeks later and 18 positions lower in the points standings Jim made a return, and picked up a Heat win just 3 weeks after finishing a new car. Followed by a Feature win 2 weeks after that. At the end of the 2001 Season Jim was 22nd in Points. Before the 2002 Season even started Jim announced plans for a sponsorship from Warren Money Systems of Independence, Ohio. Although Jim had the backing the team just couldn't get luck on their side and missed 6 weeks of racing due to an engine problem. Jim, disappointed from the season fought back to run the 2002 Cavalcade and succeeded at making the race. 3 weeks later Jim finished 2nd by inches to Mike Chapman in the Winter Racing Series. Jim ran 4 of the 5 Winter Racing Series Races and in the final show, he picked up a Heat Race win. Opening Day of 2003 arrived and Jim announced he would not be racing the full schedule. Jim made 2 starts in the Jim Foose Racing entry before selling, and joining Quinn Motorsports. With 1 more event in the 2003 Points Season at Lorain County Speedway Jim started a night and finished 77th in Points. Jim and the B & D Towing Quinn Motorsports qualified 11th for the 2003 Cavalcade.
