WINGS VISIT GIRL SCOUTS IN ANTICIPATION FOR LADIES NIGHT

PLACE: Philadelphia Wings lacrosse players, including Tom Slate and Dallas Eliuk, visit the Girl Scouts "Wings to the Future" Program at Taggart Middle School. "Wings to the Future" is a Girl Scout program designed to help girls develop and expand their decision-making skills so they can grow into healthy, happy, and competent young women. The players will talk to the Girl Scouts about their own career and decision-making skills. They will also introduce the game of lacrosse and basic skills of the game to the Girl Scouts through demonstration and participation.

PHILADELPHIA WINGS RECEIVE NATIONAL LACROSSE LEAGUE ACCOLADES
Marechek, who has received Player of the Week honors five other times in his career, received the award for his seven point (5G, 2A) performance during the Wings win, 18-14, in Vancouver, British Columbia on Sunday, December 9. Marechek is the Wings all-time goal scoring leader (250), second all-time assist leader (200), all-time points leader (450) and all-time shot leader (839). He currently leads the Wings in scoring this season with 13 points (6G, 7A) after two games. Eliuk, who has been named Player of the Week eight other times in his career, made 47 saves out of 61 shots for a 77 percent saves ratio against Vancouver this past weekend. Eliuk is the Wings all-time games played leader (108) and all-time ground balls leader (683). Eliuk had amassed 80 saves of 114 shots so far this season.
