IOWA - CLASS

The Iowa is the greatest Alliance warship. The first one was built on Earth during the time of isolation. The design was accepted and modefied by the GTVA. Classified as a Battleship, it has only one hangar bay and five wings of light reconassance fighters. The free space was used for an ultra-thick dillithium armour, more than twice as strong as that of the Collossus, and 3 powerfull reactors. Armed with twin Heavy Ion Cannon turrets, HE beam cannons, meson missile launchers and dozens of other weapons, the Iowa can take on entire fleets and emerge victorious! Currently there are only 3 active units of this class (Archangel, Apocalypse, Avenger), with two nearing completion (Retribution, Victory).

PALADIN - CLASS

The Paladin is first alliance battlecruiser. These large and powerfull warships, over 3km in lenght, have impressive armour and a good armament.

THUNDERBOLT - CLASS

The GTB Thunderbolt is a slow, but highly manuverable bomber. With heavy armour and a large payload it can not only attack large warships, but has allso proven sucesfull against enemy bombers.

VANGUARD - CLASS

The Vanguard is the first Alliance Starbase. Designt to protect key systems these huge defensive instalations have impressive armour and armament.

PHOENIX - CLASS

The Phoenix was developed by a joint team from Tryton Dynamics, Subach Ins. and Han-Roland corp. This advanced fighter is eqipped with two FR-3L Nova reactors which grant him an immense power output, thus compensating for weaker shields. With high top speed and a high weapons compability, the Phoenix is the final word in fighter design. Usage is restricted to SOC sqadrons only.

ARMAGEDDON - CLASS

The heaviest bomber in the GTVA, the Armageddon is designed to anihhilate enemy capships. Protected by an ultra-heavy armour and strong shields, it carries an imense payload and has 6 turrets for protection. They are needed, for the Armageddon is slow and barley manuverable and has virtually no anti-fighter weapon compability.

EXCALIBUR - CLASS

The new Excalibur class missile frigate is fast and deadly. Armed with noumerous missile launchers, it can quickly destroy any target with enadequate anti-fighter(missile) defense. The only weakness is the lighter armamnent on the rear section, but the frigate's agility makes rear attacks nearly impossible.
