How It All Started:

On October 11th 2001, I broke my ankle. It hurt, but it was definately worth it. If it weren't for me falling down a flight of stairs (shad up and quit laughing ;P), I don't think i'd ever be where I am right now. I was home that one lousy day, and I wanted to look up some Sonic sites that i've never seen before. My main websites at the time were the Sonic Foundation and Sonic News, but on October 11th, I wanted to check out something different and see what else was out there.

I stumbled upon a cool little MB called the Sega Sonic Message Board, which is now renamed the Sonic Stadium MB. I saw potential in this message board, and I tried my best to bring in many members and advertise it. 2 years later, that small MB is very large, with new faces popping in every day. There were so many great times there, despite the fact that sometimes there were a few misunderstandings between me and a couple other members, which caused some flamewars. But i'm glad to say that everything's cool now between me and them. Later on, I won the fans hero award at the 2002 Sonic Site Awards! I helped this community out like I wanted to do, I still visit regularly, and everything's fine. But...what do I do now? I thought that question to myself over and over. I've always dreamed of having a great Sonic site...and then it struck me. Why not build and create what you've always wanted to make? So then I got working. My goal then was to create a successful site based on the blue blur and friends.

In less than 2 months, the Sonic Base sprang right up to #9 in the top 50 list, in less than the week I joined it. I had over 1000 hits in the first week! I really thought i've created my dream. I was right. I did. Once again, I asked myself...what do I do now? And then I said to myself, "I'm going to make sure this site becomes the best it can be". And today, it's still my #1 goal. My goal is to accomplish what i've always wanted to do, and to satisfy millions upon millions of Sonic fans all over the world.

But, in this community, we shouldn't be competitive. We should be working together, as a team and as Sonic fans, to help expand this awesome community. I consider myself to be one of the biggest Sonic fans out there, and if I can help this community expand, what better way to do it than to show the world the Sonic Base?
