Sonic 3D Blast for the Sega Saturn marks Sonic's debut on this console. The Mega Drive version and the Sega Saturn version are exactly the same if you don't count a few differences. Anyways, here's the plot for both games. Sonic must save Flicky Island from the evil wrath of the fat egg we all love to hate. Dr Robotnik learns that these small birds can warp anywhere by leaping through the giant rings. He decides to capture them, transform them into robots, and use their warping technique to collect the chaos emeralds. Sonic pops by for a little visit, and sees these robotic badniks. Sonic sets out to free the flickies, and to stop Eggman once again from his dark threats.
