~Goodbye Baby, Bitch~
Chapter Seven: Goodbye Baby, Bitch

"Stever, if you even think about calling Nicci, I'll hurt you man," said Jon.

"Why? I have every right to call her."

"Yeah, and you'll end up apologizing for something that wasn't you're fault to begin with, blame the break up on yourself, and beg her to get back together."

"I would now. . .I'd tell her that. .she's. .she's. ." he thought.

"She's what?"

Stever sighed deeply and sagged his shoulders. "She's perfect, beautiful, and I want her back."

"Stever, you're absolutely hopeless."

Ryan and Tori had gone to the movies, both wanting to escape their parents and siblings for one night. Ryan wasn't much of a "chick flick" movie lover, he was more into action adventure type stuff. Tori was trying to talk him into seeing some romantic comedy thing he'd never heard of. He was trying to talk her into either Star Wars Episode 1, or The Blair Witch Project.

"Ry, I'm not really into Star Wars, and I'm not in the mood to get the shit scared out of me by some shakey camera crew in the woods."

"Well I'm not in th emood for mush and you bawling your eyes out on my sleeve."

"Ryan Dennis, you know I'd never bawl my eys out on your sleeve," she said. "That's what my own sleeve is for."

"Can we compromise this?" he asked while staring at the marquee. "Okay great, Austin Powers 2 starts in 20 minutes. Can we agree on that one?" Tori thought for a moment.

"Yeah. Mike Meyers, Dr. Evil, yeah. That sounds cool to me."

"Okay, we finally agree on something, would you mind terribly if I acted like a good boyfriend and bought your ticket?"

"You're saving me some cash Ry, do you think I mind?" she smiled.

"Is Nicci there?" Stever asked into the phone.

"This is the one and only," she answered. "Who's this?"

"S-Stever," he answered back with a gulp.

"Oh Stever! How are you?" Nicci asked happily.

"F-fine," he replied. "How's it goin with you?"

"Well good now that you've called me. I thought you'd never speak to me again."

"Well it's probably what you deserve," he replied curtly. Suddenly he had realized how stupid it was of him to have called her. "How could you even think of using me the way you did and then make a pass at one of my best friends?"

"God, aren't we just a little edgy today?" she said. "Did you call me just to bitch me out, or was there an alterior motive?"

"I don't know why I called you anymore. This has just been a waste of thirty seconds out of my life. I can't believe I even bothered," he said. "But I do want to thank you for making me realize why I dumped you in the first place."

"And exactly for what reason did you? I mean, how could you walk away from someone like me?"

"Easily, because you're a conceited, self-absorbed, cold-hearted, gold digging slut," he stated, and with that he hung up the phone. He let out a deep sigh, and let his last thought of Nicci slip out of his mind. He turned around and was immediatly met by the shcoked faces of Jon, Dan, and Ryan. "Oh. . .hey guys, what's up?" The guys were silent, and stared at him with wide eyes and gaping mouths.

"I can't believe you finally told that bitch off!" cried Dan, breaking the silence.

"Aw Stever, dude that was wicked! I couldn't have thought of anything better for you to say to her," said Jon.

"All I have to say," said Ryan," is it's about damn time!" Stever sighed.

"I feel a little bit better," he replied.
