"Ryan that's nuts, no way man," said Stever.

"Stever, I'm telling you the truth man. I'm telling you, Tori is the chick, the chick is Tori," Ryan persisted.

"No way, I mean Stever's right Ry, it is pretty hard to believe," Jon added.

"But how can you explain my dreams, or hers for that matter? And she can't exactly make this up, she's from Texas."

"It's like something out of the Twilight Zone. . ." Dan said in a spaced out voice while staring at a wall with glassy eyes. There was then a sudden knock on the door that made all four guys jump a mile high.

"Enter at your own risk!" called Stever while everyone composed themselves. The door opened and Tori walked in.

"Hi," she said somewhat shyly. "I'm Tori, I hope I'm not interrupting you or anything. Ryan said it'd be okay if I stopped by for a few."

"No, of course not," said Jon. "We haven't even started anything yet."

"So you're from the States," said Dan. "That's cool."

"Yeah, I guess so," Tori replied.

"Here, you can take my chair while we play," Ryan offered.

"Okay." Tori was happy that Ryan's friends seemingly liked her. She could imagine the hell she'd feel inside if they didn't.

As the guys began playing, Tori caught just a small glimpse of the talent they possesed. Since they were only playing for her in their garage, and not an entire audience on a stage, the stage presence wasn't quite the same, yet the sound remained incredible. Tori instantly fell in love with the sound of Serial Joe. She couldn't believe that the four boys bfore her were only her age, when they had the talent of professionals years older than themselves.

Although she admired the talent of all four guys, she was especially drawn to Ryan. There was something about him that evev her dream couldn't capture. She didn't was to appear biased, because most people "fell" for the lead singers, but Ryan was different.

Tori knew that moving to Newmarket would be interesting, and now she knew that it was fate. It was standing right in front of her in the form of Ryan Dennis.
