"You're so nice Bri."
"So are you LO." And he kissed the top of my head.
"Whoa! AJ! Steph! There are children present!" I yelled to the couple who
was making out on the floor.
"Sorry." Steph said, turning red.
"When are we stopping to eat?" I asked
"Now." Brian said as the bus stopped.
"Where we eating?" I asked
"Wendy's."
"OK." I said while walking to the front of the bus. I reached in my bunk
and grabbed my wallet. "Come on Angel!"
"Can I get a kids meal?"
"Yea Angie." I stepped inside and up to the counter. "Hey Bri, is this for
here or to go?"
"To go!" He said back.
"Can I get a kids meal with a coke, two large frostys, and a number five
with a coke."
"That will be 9.43"
"OK." I said, handing her the money. Minutes later we were back on the
bus with a complaining AJ.
"I want McDonalds!" He yelled
"Too damn bad!" I said back
"AJ, just eat. Please baby?" Stephanie asked
"OK. As long as we to McDonalds tomorrow."
"OK." Steph said back
"Damn! He is worse than Angie when she misses a nap!" I yelled. Then I
went to help Angie get ready for bed. It was already eight, and she had just
finished dinner, and was eating the cookie that Brian had bought her.
"Look what Brian bought me!"
"What do you say Angel?" I said, leaning on the doorway.
"I already thanked him!"
"But I didn't get a goodnight hug." Brian said, pretending to pout. Angie
gave him a hug.
"Come on Angie. Time to get into your PJ's." I said
"You aren't getting in your PJ's!" Angie pouted.
"Yes, I am. Brian, are you?"
"Sure am, as soon as you two are done." He said smiling. I mouthed Thank
you to him.
"Come on Angie." About five minutes later we were done. Angie insisted we
did our hair the same way, so I put her hair up in a tight bun. We sat down
to watch some TV, and after five minutes Angie was dead asleep. I picked her
up and placed her in a bunk. Then I reached into my bunk and took out my
Grandview blanket. I walked out to the kitchen where Everyone was. "You guys,
I just put Angie down. Please be quiet. If she wakes up I will NEVER get her
to sleep, and if someone should wake her up, tomorrow you will be dealing
with two VERY cranky girls." I threatened.
"Can we watched Scream 2 now?" AJ asked.
"As long as Nicky here doesn't scream. Hey Nick, is it true you scream
like a girl?" I asked
"Richard screams like a girl." Jenny and Steph said at the same time.
"I miss Richie. Next time you talk to him, let me talk to him. I miss
kicking the shit out of him!" I said.
"Who's Richard?" Nick asked
"LO's crush." Stephanie said.
"He's my cousin! I do NOT like him! Gawd, will you EVER stop thinking
that?"
"Never." Stephanie said smiling.
"Hey, LO. Where did you get such cute boxers?" Howie asked.
"A friend bought them for me." I said, blushing a little. They had
flowers, frogs, and rainbows on them. They also said 'Friends forever' all
over them.
"Awwww, LO's blushing. Doesn't she look cute guys?" Kevin said teasingly
"Sure does." Brian said. Then he blushed.
I went up behind him and whispered into his ear "I'm not the only one who
is cute when they blush." Then I patted his cheek (on his face!) and went to
the back of the bus.
