Brian grabbed Lara's hands, as he put his empty wine glass down, and spun her twice, towards the dance floor. 'Livin la vida loca' came on, and he pulled her close. Brian began to dance with her, seductively, and held her into provocative looking moves, swnging her between his legs, and dancing that way, they were the centre of attention, as a circle formed around them. Then they were grinding, he stuck his hands on her thighs, and inched her little skirt up. Then he would spin her around and hold her close, again. The song quickly ended, and Brian finally noticed all of the eyes that were on them, he pinpointed Averi, who was looking at him through slitted eyes, and a deep intense glare.
Lara looked flushed, but hyped, as Kevin dragged her off to dance.
Brian headed for his wine glass and the second his raised the cup to his lips, he saw Averi.
"Brian," she said, icily, "'What', might I ask, "Do you think you were doing? You and Lara, mating on the bloody dance floor! What's wrong with you? You don't even 'like' her, not even a little!"
"Um.. Averi.." he smiled at her, lovingly, "What's wrong?"
"How 'could' you!" she screamed, grabbing everyone's attention, "And that... that.. harlot!"
Brian looked surprised, as he sipped his drink, "C'mon, Averi... we were just dancing, don't make a scene.. He said softly to her.
"Besides," AJ spat out, in his friends' defence"What do you care? You can't stand him!"
"Whatever!" Averi snootily spat back, "I'm not going to waste my time on you losers."
And with that, she left.
"Dammit," muttered Lara, "Dammit, dammit, dammit."
"What's wrong, Aj's girlfriend, Amanda , asked her, "Why so glum, chum?"
"Hm... Averi left.. I have to bus it home!"
"Well, Brian can give you a ride." Kevin told her.
"Hey!" AJ suddenly exclaimed, "Jenna, babe!"
Jenna the girl from outside had just arrived with her friend Mary, who was the receptionist, and who's parents owned the Hotel.
"Hi 'Mr.McLean', this is my friend, Mary. Mary sighed, "Sorry, I'm kinda used to it.."
AJ laughed, "Hey, come, let me introduce y'all to Brian, Nick and Kevin."
He introduced them, and Mary eyed the girl standing beside Nick, "I'm Mandy, Nick's girlfriend!" she said, stressing the word 'girlfriend'"It's great meeting you, this place is so nice, it must be soo cool to own it!'
"Yes," replied Mary, mimicking Mandy, "Well it is great meeting all of you, it must be soo cool to be dating a Backstreet Boy!"
Mary turned around to look for Jenna, but only to see that she had gone off with AJ to dance.
AJ's girlfriend, Amanda looked slightly perturbed, but said nothing.
Mary looked at Mandy who was hanging onto Nick's arm, like a lost child, he looked at Mandy and tried to shrug her off, but she held close, quite aware of the competition that was always evident. She knew that Nick, being a world wide sex-symbol had his pick of girls, and she would not let go of him.. ever.
