
"Dang, why can't that guy just leave me alone?" Averi shouted, more to herself, than anyone else, as she slammed the front door to her house.
"I'm thinking you mean Brian," her sister Lara said with a knowing look,"Y'know Averi, why can't you just give the guy a chance? It really cannot be that bad!"
"Why the heck should I?" Averi spat out, obviously disgusted, "I never would have back in highschool, so why should I do it, now?"
"Oh, come on!" Lara urged, "I would!"

Howie, like most the the men in the room, wore a casual suit, and he looked Aj over a few times. Then, all of a sudden, Howie began to laugh. He laughed and laughed, almost bursting into tears.
