Born from the ashes of Headcount in October '03, the Lords of the Southern Priest have arrived to brutalise your senses with a mix of melody, grind, death, hardcore and metal.

The Lords began as Paul D. (vocals), Paul H. (guitar) and Jon (guitar). They hunted high and low for a bass player and drummer, eventually finding Greg (drums) who tried out and got the job - despite dying from the flu at the time!

Their first gig was a week and a half later, on Halloween at 'Flicks' in Yeovil. Three new songs were written and an old Headcount song learnt. The gig was a triumph and the band continued to play throughout January and February with no bass player.

A 6 track C.D. was recorded (Violent Darker Existence) still with no bass player. Then Sean was found at a Dillinger Escape Plan gig, very drunk! After an audition, he was found to be the man for the job.

The newly complete line-up then gigged and recently recorded a split C.D. with fellow Bristol band Cephalic Inscription (Corpus Callosum). More gigs followed and that brings us up to now..........
