A Brief History of UiTM Machang
Branch |
The Kelantan branch campus was
established on 1st July 1985 at a temporary site in Kem
Kijang (owned by Scouts Council of Kelantan), Kota
Bharu.
Renovation work on several old
buildings and construction of new buildings to be used
as administrative and academic blocks, Lecture Rooms,
Library, Students Hostels and Dining Halls amounting to
RM 1.5 million was fully funded by the state
Government.
The Kelantan Branch was given 501
acres of land at Bukit Ilmu, Machang for the
construction of a permanent Branch Campus . The actual
name of the Bukit Ilmu was Bukit Anjing. The two-year
construction work has started and is scheduled for
completion in mid-April 1995.
