Head Coach Pat O'Donnell



Head Coach Pat O'Donnell led the Warrior football program for three seasons from 1964 through 1966. His 1966 team
won a DIL co-championship; overall the Warriors were 17-9-1 under his guidance. Before coming to Tehachapi,
O'Donnell graduated from Colorado St. on a football scholarship earning degrees in math and physical education.
During his Tehachapi years, O'Donnell was in the US Army reserves.

O'Donnell left Tehachapi to return to Colorado where he taught and coached one year at Western St. College in Gunnison;
Pat then went to Poudre High School for five years; and then Rocky Mountain High School
in Fort Collins before retiring in 1995. O'Donnell had a stellar high school football coaching
career and was the Colorado State Coach of the Year in 1979. The RMHS Pat O'Donnell
Fitness Center was dedicated in his honor. After retirement, Pat worked as a realtor in Fort Collins.
Pat passed away in 2014 at 76 years old.
