Head Coach John S. Matthews
John Matthews became the second head coach in Warrior football history. Coach Matthews replaced Gus Offerman (1930-1933) as the new
head coach for the 1934 season. Matthews, a graduate of Washington State University, would watch his varsity football team finish
the 1934 season with a final 3-8-1 record. It was the only season Mr. Matthews coached at Tehachapi High School.
