Under fourth year coach Bill Carll, the 1975-76 Warriors placed second in the Desert-Inyo League with an 11-2 record. The Warriors also enjoyed their fifth consecutive winning season posting an overall 19-6 record.

Throughout the season, the Warriors were led by guards Vince McLaughlin, John Morris, and Kent Perkins; and strong forwards Ken Booker (6'2"), Mark Anthony (6'2"), Kevin Reeder, and Jeff Line.

During the pre-league season, the Warriors had a tremendous December finishing with an 8-3 record. The Warriors won the championship of the annual Rosamond Tournament, defeating Paraclete, Boron, and host Rosamond in the finals, 55-46. Anthony was named the MVP of the tourney while Booker and Line joined him on the All-Tournament team. Anthony scored 43 points in the three games to lead the Warriors.

In the Bishop round-robin classic, the Warriors defeated Fillmore, 73-57, and lost to Santa Paula, 60-48. The Santa Paula loss was the first in seven games for the Warriors.

At the Desert Tournament, the Warriors won 1 and lost 2. Tehachapi lost to Paraclete, ripped Lone Pine, and then lost to Boron. No Warriors were selected to the All-Tournament team.

In other December 1975 games, Tehachapi defeated Bishop; topped Shafter 59-57 in overtime; and beat Paraclete, 59-57.

In league play, the biggest win of the season was on February 10 in Bishop, as the Warriors defeated the Broncos, 60-58. It was the first loss in league play by Bishop, and the second time the Warriors had defeated the Broncos this season. Booker and Morris scored 14 points apiece to lead the Warriors.

Unfortunately for Tehachapi, they dropped two games early in the season to underdogs Rosamond and Desert. Bishop finished at 12-1; Tehachapi placed 2nd at 11-2; and Desert was 3rd at 9-4.

Sporting a 10 game winning streak, the Warriors advanced to the 1A playoffs traveling to Van Nuys to challenge Montclair Prep (19-4). In double overtime, the Warriors lost a 57-56 game, despite the 9 point scoring efforts of Booker, McLaughlin, and Perkins.

For the season, Booker led the Warriors in scoring with 274 points (25 games) for a 11.0 game average. Anthony scored 271 points (25 games) for a 10.9 average. Booker and Anthony were selected to the all-DIL 1st team while Perkins was an Honorable Mention selection.

Booker and Anthony were selected the Co-MVP's of the team by the coaching staff.
