Head Coach John S. Matthews
John Matthews became the second head coach in Warrior basketball history succeeding Gus Offerman.
Matthews, a graduate of Washington State University, would watch his varsity basketball team finish the 1934-35 season
with a respectable 2-2 record in league play and 3-6 overall. It was the only season Mr. Matthews
coached at Tehachapi High School.
