My mother and father are both academics, who have become very successful in their fields. My father is a physicist/mathematician, who got his pHD in Applied Mathematics from Oxford University. He is currently the Executive Director of the Third World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) in Trieste, Italy. My mother, on the other hand is an economist who got her masters fromt the London School of Economics. She is currently a consultant for the Economic Research Forum for Arab Countries, Iran and Turkey(ERF) in Cairo, Egypt.
My younger sister is a sophomore at Swarthmore College, where she is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Economics/Political Science. My brother is... well... he's only 9 years old and wants to become a soccer player!!!
