Emergency Medical Services is one of the basic community services that each of us hopes will be there when we need it. In larger metropolitan areas, this is accomplished by paid personnel. In small town America, it is accomplished by volunteer personnel who give of their time to become trained, remain trained and respond to each call for help. I used to be deeply committed to this cause and I hope that others will do the same.
