Look at me! I'm finally updating! It's about time, eh?

I've added a few more sections to the site within the last couple of weeks...a section that includes a few pictures of Ireland (mainly taken within the Sligo and Galway areas) with some appropriate Yeats poems. I've also added the ‘nerdy nook’ (my apologies about the crappy title) which will be home to various physics related cartoons, jokes etc. So if you have anything to add, please let me know!

Links to various sites have also been added, including: Aaron and Holly’s site...as well as the PASU (physics and astronomy students' union) site that Aaron's been working so hard on.

Hmmmm...I seem to be making quite the habit of waiting months in between my posts.
Let's see what has happened...
I had a simply wonderful time in Ireland! Perhaps I should bother scanning some of the pictures and adding them onto my site, then again, I'm lazy, so I honestly don't see that happening anytime in the recent future. :P

I started school in September, and although I was longing for academic structure and deadlines during summer, I'm beginning to wonder WHY!!?????? Who knew that Quantum Physics could give me such problems???
Anyway, I better get back to studying...which has been taking up almost ALL of my time recently.
Oh oh, found something funny care of PhysLink.com.

YOU MIGHT BE A PHYSICS MAJOR...

-if you have no life - and you can PROVE it mathematically.
-if you enjoy pain.
-if you know vector calculus but you can't remember how to do long division.
-if you chuckle whenever anyone says 'centrifugal force.'
-if you've actually used every single function on your graphing calculator.
-if when you look in a mirror, you see a physics major.
-if it is sunny and 70 degrees outside, and you are working on a computer.
-if you always do homework on Friday and Saturday nights.
-if you know how to integrate a chicken and can take the derivative of water.
-if you think in 'math.'
-if you've calculated that the World Series actually diverges.
-if you hesitate to look at something because you don't want to break down its wave function.
-if you have a pet named after a scientist.
-if you laugh at jokes about mathematicians.
-if the Humane society has you arrested because you actually performed the Schrodinger's Cat experiment.
-if you can't remember what's behind the door in the science building which says 'Exit.'
-if you have to bring a jacket with you, in the middle of summer, because there's a wind-chill factor in the lab.
-if you avoid doing anything because you don't want to contribute to the eventual heat-death of the universe.
-if you consider ANY non-science course 'easy.'
-if when your professor asks you where your homework is, you claim to have accidentally determined its momentum so precisely, that according to Heisenberg it could be anywhere in the universe.
-if the 'fun' center of your brain has deteriorated from lack of use.
-if you'll assume that a 'horse' is a 'sphere' in order to make the math easier.
-if you understood more than five of these indicators.

And yes, I AM a nerd...

It has been ages since I've updated my blog! Where to begin?

My in-class driving lessons have been successfully completed and I've started taking in-car lessons, with a very gorgeous instructor (who would make me nervous enough just in his presence, nevermind behind the wheel as well). My mother tells me that I have approximately ten lessons left with him and according to her we should be, at the very LEAST, engaged by the time they're over, gotta love mom! :P@Mom

This past week I spent my days at a cottage about 2 hours northeast of Toronto, near a town that goes by the name of Lakefield. We had a simply wonderful week there! I'll be adding a whole bunch of those pictures (with comments of course) soon enough, not to mention a "friend and family" section onto the site. Not too sure when I'll get around to doing so, mainly because I'm due to fly out of Toronto this Saturday night. Destination: Dublin, Ireland :)!

Didn't do a great deal today either. I lead such a boring life! Although, a speical 'thank you' must be sent out to Morph (and that wonderful mind of his) for solving a few problems that I was having with the layout of my site. *hugs Morph extra tight* :)

I added a few sketches into the section with the same name (d'uh, :P ). Other than that, the only modification was to the layout, which I already mentioned above.

I rolled out of bed quite late this morning, not too proud of that, but I had little sleep last night. I wasn't incredibly productive throughout the rest of the day either. Other than some chores around the house and taking care of Cody, I worked on the site a little bit. Added a guestbook, and also a link to an Irish radio station (Yay for Gaelic :P ).

Bah, I've been getting so lazy recently. I can't stand my life without a structure of some type. I'm feeling so...lost. I need a job, or to enrol in a course. I need something that offers me deadlines! *pulls out hair* Thankfully I'm going away for August, then I'll be back in school for September. Now I only have to figure out what to do with the rest of July. Hmmmmmm...

Yay! I've finally attended my first (of 8) in-class driving lesson this evening. I was somewhat bored, as it's just the basics at this point, and I also felt quite old, since everyone else in my class is about 16, Bah. At least I'm learning, better late than never!

Bah, it's taken me forever to finally get this up and running, though, it's still in it's rather crude stages. I've never been good with anything that's associated with computers, and alas websites are included on that list! Oh well, through my mistakes I'll learn. Eh?
