QwIl'eren zantai DuppImRank: Lieutenant Commander (Sogh la') |
|
| Personal Traits: Follows the Klingon
code of Honor. He is proud, passionate, volatile, and wears his heart on his sleeve. He is
burdened with an immense, sad weight in his heart that he does not speak of. He seeks
assignments that take him far away from the Empire. He instinctively reaches for a weapon
when startled. He normally wears Synthetic Klingon Battle Armor, a Comm Badge on left
shoulder, nISwI Hich Soch disruptor on right thigh with extra powerpack pack, sciences
tricorder on front left hip, and a medical pouch on rear right hip. He sometimes wears a
dark grey hooded cloak on away missions. Personality: Hatred of Shapechangers, never surrenders, Killer, Enraged when wounded, Reputation family name, Professional rival (future Family leadership) Merq DuppIm (Cousin) Hobbies: Suv nuHHom Hutlh (martial art)- Level One Expert; Languages- Klingon, Terran, Orion; Alien (From a Klingon Perspective) Starships- Federation, Romulan, Orion, Cardassian, Breen; Alien (From a Klingon Perspective) Energy Weapons- Federation, Romulan, Cardassian, Breen; Orion Culture; Computer Programing; Security Systems; Klingon Melee Weapons (especially meqleH) Place of birth: VeSQa Early Life: Born into a family deeply involved in Imperial Intelligence, QwIl'eren had a childhood different from most Klingons. He learned to walk while his parents acted as diplomatic officials in a rare (and relatively short lived) embassy on Breen. His parents moved back to the place of his birth, VeSQa, near the Orion Border where they alternated working against the Orions and raising a family. Unfortunately, as so often happens, QwIl'eren picked up some Orion traits (including hacking computer and home alarm systems) that annoyed his parents. He was sent to a boarding school on Qo'noS and it was hoped that he would take his Orion experience and put it to good use for Imperial Intelligence. QwIl'eren rebelled however and tried to fit into "normal" Klingon life by joining the Imperial Navy. Academy Life: QwIl'eren managed to fit into Academy life most of the time. His first year was the hardest, giving him numerous occassions to practice his skill at Suv nuHHom Hutlh. Sometimes he lost, but by the end of the year, losses in a fight were rare and he earned respect. He wanted to Major in Tactical and Minor in Security, but an instructor recognized his inquisitive nature and convinced him to Minor in Science. He did not graduate at the top of his class, but was in the top 5% which allowed him a choice of prime positions for his cadet cruise. Major Area of Study: Tactical Cadet Cruise: QwIl'eren's cadet cruise was aboard the IKV puHnej , an old zgal-D Research Cruiser (D-9D) sent to explore a section of the Orion Molecular Cloud where ships had been disappearing. A pair of Orion Pirate vessels were discovered. QwIl'eren's familiarity with Orion Culture and some original astro-science work helped the IKV puHnej defeat one of the heavily armed vessels (the other got away). He was then instrumental in locating the base they operated from and securing it until Klingon Marines and Security forces could clear it out. Additional Service Record: QwIl'eren was assigned to the IKV ghIchHom a toqDuj-C scout vessel (K-22C), as QeDpIn (Science Officer). The vessel carried out an uneventful 2 year mission coreward of the empire. Upon completion of the mission, was assigned back to the IKV puHnej as chaDIch baHwI (assistant Gunner) and promoted to Sogh (Lt.). The IKV puHnej was on another uneventful exploration mission coreward of the empire when a joint Klingon / Federation task force was defeated at Wolf 359. The IKV puHnej was called home, but no further Borg attacks followed right away. The crew were rotated and the vessel was reassigned. It was the third Klingon vessel to go through the Bajoran wormhole into the Gamma Quadrant where it explored for one year, making contact with the Wadi, Karemma, and the Teplan. The IKV puHnej returned home and conducted a 1 year cruise for graduating cadets. At the end of the tour, the crew was rotated and the vessel assigned a mission the took it near the Badlands on the Cardassian / Federation Boarder. When war broke out, the IKV puHnej lead a large task force through the badlands and deep into Cardassian space. Although lightly armed, the IKV puHnej did manage to make 3 kills during the war, two of them while QwIl'eren was baHwI (Gunner). QwIl'eren was promoted to Sogh la (Lt. Cmdr.) and assigned as baHwI (Gunner) to the IKV QIS SuD, a qIvorIt-D Light Cruiser (D-42D) assigned to monitor Breen Pirate activity. In combat, on a Klingon vessel, the baHwI normally commands with a Captain only occasionally stepping in. In a fight with a Breen Pirate however, the captain of the IKV QIS SuD refused to let the baHwI lead the fight, constantly countermanding his orders. When the Breen got away, the captain blamed QwIl'eren and QwIl'eren responded, as he should have, by drawing his blade to defend his honor. The captain drew his blade and personal combat ensued. The captain won, but as he moved in to kill QwIl'eren, QwIl'eren drew his disruptor and fired. Though the captain acted improperly, the board of inquiry decided QwIl'eren's actions were not justified. He narrowly avoided naDHaghach (Discommendation), was demoted one step, and assigned convoy escort duty near the Orion Border. When the War with the Dominion broke out, the former first officer of the IKV puHnej now had command of his own vessel, the IKV qul QeH, a B'rel-G destroyer (D-32G) and requested QwIl'eren as his baHwI (Gunner). QwIl'eren managed to rack up a good kill record for the IKV qul QeH. He was eventually promoted to Sogh la (Lt. Cmdr.) again and the stain seemed to be removed from his record. In the final battle for Cardassia Prime however, the IKV qul QeH was destroyed. QwIleren was one of the few survivors, but the fire had gone out of his wounded soul. The brother of the former captain of the IKV QIS SuD wanted him, but he knew it would be trouble. He now seeks assignments that take him far from the Empire where he works to heal old, unseen scars.
