Installation
************
Requires Windows 9x to run. Will not run under Windows NT, Windows 2000, or any non-Windows based operating system.
Unzip contents into your Windows folder. All images must be in the same folder they were extracted to, which should be Windows\fs2sspics\ If the images are changed in any way or left out, it will not run properly. Being a Beta version as well as freeware, no tech support of any kind can be offered.
However, there is one problem that frequents many applications made in Visual Basic- your computer may be missing a needed Visual Basic DLL. It was not included in the zip file because it's large. If you need it, try searching download.com for it, the full name of the DLL will be provided in the error message.
To quit the running program, click a mouse button, move the mouse, or press any key.

Troubleshooting

If you get "Run-time error 13 'Type mismatch'" you have an outdated or corrupt INI file. Download the latest version from the internet.
If you get "Run-time error 53 'File not found'" you either have not extracted the INI file to the same directory as the SCR file, or are attempting to run from WinZip. Ensure that the entire contents of the ZIP file are extracted.
If you get "Run-time error 62 'Input past end of file'" you have an outdated or corrupt INI file. Download the latest version from the internet.
If you gen "Error loading ***** DC" the program is either unable to find the image specified in the fs2sspics directory, or you are low on memory. First, ensure that the entire contents of the ZIP file have been extracted. Make sure you have not renamed any files, or if using the ship editor, make sure you are typing in the correct file name. Finally, make sure that the fs2sspics folder is located in the same directory as the SCR file (should be C:\windows\fs2sspics). If all the above checks out, you are either low on memory or attempting to load from an invalid operating system. Windows 9x must be used. If you are using a valid OS, open up the settings panel and reduce some numbers to save memory. Suggested changes include planets, suns, particles, missiles, explosions, and number of ships.
