Bruno Anselmo was dishonorably discharged from the Marines for coercing a group of  privates into playing dodge ball with     live grenades. Anselmo went to work as Edgar Sonrisa's right-hand man in 2017. After botching an attempt on Logan Cale's life, Anselmo later turned on Sonrisa and was shot by police. He awakened in a hospital.  The police told him he had to testify in court or he will be put in prison.

Before he was put in witness protection, he met Max.  He thought he killed her.  Bruno told some guys about her and they offered him a big sum to bring her to them.  He saw Max again when she "saved" him from some guys but it was staged.  After hiding out and testifying against the Mayor.  He delevered Max to Johanson and his men and took his money.  As he was leaving the building, he was shot and killed.
