June 2002

June 10, 2002

Time has passed, I've graduated High School and I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. I thank Jesus Christ for seeing me through it all and having mercy on me even when I deserve none. I've got plans for the site, but they are limited and ideas are always a problem. I'm planning on hosting Zmud here again, possibly a few versions of it, including, of course, the older 4.62 and the new ones. I'm also going to put more pictures on here (right now I have access to a wonderful digital camera) and possibly some more stories/poems and hopefully information on a lot of different topics. If there is anything you would like to see, you can contact me: My ICQ Number is 147676971, My MSN Email Address is Ancient7@hotmail.com, My Yahoo name is Wolftren and my email address here is ancient@soulsoft.every1.net. As always, Enjoy your stay!

I've added Zmud Again (four versions of it) under the Downloads Section and I've added a script I've been working on for sometime, you can see it Here and I've added a way to Contact Me to the left frame. Look for more updates in the near future and as always, Enjoy!

July 2002

July 4, 2002

I've added a disclaimer for you to read. At one point in time I wanted to keep this main page clean (perhaps for ads or something) and stash my updates on an updates page, well, I've decided to go ahead with that. From now on, each month I will clear this page and ad the previous updates to the updates page. You can see the Updates Page Here. I've changed several things throughout the site. The two most extensive changes I can think of are my nephews picture page (see it here) and the way email is handled. To access your email click the email link in the left <-- frame. A small window, containing only the email logon will open up and once you login it will be closed. I'm going to be going through the site and trying to "clean up" the code, now that I understand much more about javascript, I hope to be able to make the site more efficient. I've removed the "system info" link from the left frame for now - the script is fairly old. I hope to analyze it and be able to eventually write my own. I'll probably end up making a "scripts" link, that will contain all of my scripts. In the near future I'll get more work done on my encryption/decryption script. As always, Enjoy!

July 5, 2002

I've changed quite a few things on the site these last couple of days, most of the changes are purely cosmetic, however, I am still trying to improve the sites in ways that will make it more efficient. I'll keep updates posted, in the meantime, Enjoy!

WARNING!! I've noticed this website doesn't look so good on platforms other than windows/browsers other than Internet Explorer. Unfortunately I'm not too sure how to fix that problem - yet. I warn against using the script I've written unless you use IE -- at least the encryption/decryption part of it, it seems to cause a severe lag. I'm going to work on fixing this site for other platforms (particularly linux which I'm using right now on my other system) and other browsers, such as netscape and opera. In the meantime though, hang in there!

July 8, 2002

I've managed to correct the cookie which is set when you first enter the site to work with Netscape, Opera, and IE. I'm going to keep working on the site and hopefully all of it will eventually work with every browser I can view it on. As a result of the correction section 1B of my disclaimer has been modified. In the meantime, if you have any questions feel free to email me and do enjoy your stay here. I've been working on my main system today and I've decided a few things. #1 I'm gonna upgrade to Windows XP soon and I'm looking forward to the new Service Pack coming out. I'm hoping I'll be able to fully get rid of IE and use a browser of my choice. Don't get my wrong, I like IE, but I want something that I'll be able to work with and design pages with that will work on whatever platform/browser I want it to - or at least close to it. Right now I'm leaning toward Mozilla. I used to be a strong supporter of Opera, but Opera lacks support (or I lack the ability) for things I want to do with javascript - particularly my Superscript I've been working on. Mozilla seems to work fine with it, which means either mozilla uses what IE does OR Opera uses something funky. I'm hoping Mozilla uses a java machine based on the net standards. I'm gonna have to do some research and find out soon. In the meantime, I'll be working on my site and I hope to get my system upgraded in the next few days and hopefully I'll get the website operating correctly on all browsers/platforms possible. Please, in the meantime, Enjoy! :)

August 2002

Unfortunately I managed to lose the lone August update I posted on the site... it wasn't much anyway, but I do plan on working on it a great deal more in the near future, God be willing.
