Nintendo's current entry in the console market is the GameCube (GCN). The GameCube dominates in the "family friendly" game market, but also has plenty of gaming options for the "Mature" gamer. Sure,
sometimes you do feel funny shooting a zombie dog with your purple controller, but what can you do? The graphics
and the smooth gameplay of the GameCube more than make up for this oddity.
The Gamecube supports Dolby Pro Logic II and has the ability to have four players going at the same time. Amongst other things, the Nintendo Gameboy Advance can connect up to the Gamecube for extra playability and unlock secrets.
Currently, the GCN is the least expensive console on the market. It should also be noted that Nintendo is currently running a
promotion where, if you buy a GameCube, you get to choose one of four free games.
