Battery Observation Post
This concrete structure set into the cliff top was built to Public Works Department Plan 113547 with the planned three 30.480 cm pillars removed.
The Battery Observation Post measures 4.571 metres by 5.790 metres and was built during October 1942.
During the height of readiness it was manned 24 hours a day and was fitted with a 9 foot (2.742 metre) Barr and Stroud range finder.
