The Chmmr History
The Chmmr is a hybrid race of the Chenjesu and Mmrnmhrm. Their real history lies with them.
The Chenjesu were a crystaline race who feeded off minerals and light energy. Their originals are unknown. They were one of the most advanced races in the quadant and they were a peaceful philosophical species, but they didn't hesitate to fight against the inslaving Ur-Quan. The Chenjesu lived on a world were they had no predators and therefore new no violance. That's why they were peaceful. The Chenjesu's crystaline biochemistry made it easy for the to recieve HyperWave signals from deep space.
The Mmrnmhrm were a robotic race who were created by a huge robotic factory they called The Mother Ark. The Mother Ark was created by a distant race believed to be the precursors. They were originally suppose to be simple sentient robots to help out the aliens, but they got activated for some unknown reason and the Mmrnmhrm were born.
Within a few years there were millions of Mmrnmhrm robots across the solar system they were born/built in. They colonized nearby stars and made contact with the Chenjesu. From the start the Chenjesu and the Mmrnmhrm had a close relationship. The Mmrnmhrm's long-term mission/purpose has not been released to anyone else yet
During the first great war against the Ur-Quan the Chenjesu and the Mmrnmhrm were the founding members and the most important ones too. They fought long and hard against them and even though they weren't doing too bad the arrival of the Sa-Matra destroyed there forces. The Mmrnmhrm abandoned there original colonies and decided to live on Procyon 2.
While the Ur-Quan imprisoned the Mmrnmhrm and the Chenjesu, they were secretly starting something called "The Process" were the 2 races would become one. But it was restricted to the amount of sunlight they recieved from the sun. But the the Captain of the Precursor ship flooded the planet with lots and lots and lots of light and forced them to become what they are today.... the Chmmr!
However the Chmmr clearly stated that this was not suppose to happen and that the Chmmr were not the original intended products of "The Process" but unfortuately we will never know what they were supposer to be. Unless some how some Chenjesu and some Mmrnmhrm somehow survived the war and still live somewhere.
The Chenjesu and the Mmrnmhrm had to join or they would risk extinction which is against what every living being is supoose to NOT do. The Chenjesu were threatened by the Ur-Quan and wanted freedom from them. They new how to break the slave-shield but what use would it be if they could never win the war against them? They needed a new powerful race. The Mmrnmhrm's Mother Ark was failing and they couldn't reproduce. Unable to fit the Mother Ark the Mmrnmhrm decided to join with the Chenjesu to make a race. That way both races could survive.
The Chmmr homeworld is still the ancient homeworld of the Chenjesu Procyon 2. The Chmmr are believed to have all the knowledge and information of both the Chenjesu and the Mmrnmhrm, which is a lot!
NOTE: This is the history for the Chmmr. This is only a certain area of there history. BUT you can add/elaborate to the history of the Chmmr!
