The Pkunk History
Once the Pkunk left Yehat space, they sent scouts to search for a suitable Homeworld. After several years they found one a Gamma Krueger 1. It was very close to Gamma Serpentis 1, there 'actual' Homeworld. It took decades for the Pkunk to awaken all the Pkunk from cryogenic suspension. The colonized all of Gamma Krueger, they set up mining bases in the asteroid bet, set massive amounts of research post on Gamma Krueger 1, so they could combat the bacteria on the surface and study the ecology. And put bases everywhere just to study aspects of the planets in the system.
For the next few centuries the Pkunk emerged themselves in a spiritual quest for ultimate spiritual perfection. The changed their quest to 'near' spiritual perfection when they first learned about the Ilwrath in the war between the Alliance and the Ur-Quan Hierarchy. Because the Ilwrath were once (they believe) deeply loving and spiritual beings because when the obtained spiritual perfection they went a little further than thought possible and somehow something perverted them to become evil. There are some speculations that for the same reason the Androsynth disappeared by researching in IDF, the Ilwrath were perverted, but since there is no evidence of any mishappenings of that kind happening to the Androsynth or the Ilwrath it is assumed false.
The Pkunk knew only of the Ilwrath, the Yehat and vaguely heard of the Ur-Quan. They claim to see countless 'invisible' beings, and also see gods and dead civilizations on 'the other side' but they don't really count. But at around 2146 the Ilwrath began attacking the Pkunk in response to their gods' orders to kill them. However it was really an Umgah prank that cost them 2 thirds of their civilization. The Ilwrath didn't stop attacking them until about 10 years after they started when 'The Captain' had a powerful HyperWave broadcaster and trick the Ilwrath into attacking the Thraddash.
In the year 2158 the Pkunk departed their space and reentered Yehat space. The Yehat, however, destroyed all their ships and integrated the entire species in the Yehat culture. However when Zeep-Zeep starfighting clan rebelled against the Queen the Pkunk took and active role and with their clairvoyant powers were able to defeat the Queen and help 'The Captain' in destroying the Sa-Matra.
Now the Pkunk will spend the next dozen generations into reintegrating the Yehat into the Pkunk culture. They will then evolve and discover the mysteries of the universe, having undergone 2 major reformations and always surviving with flying colors.
