A MASK LEFT KANSAS TODAY
THE WEATHER HERE HAS BEEN MILD
BUT THE MASK IS GOING TO THE EAST COAST
IN THE CAROLINAS, WHERE THE WEATHER HAS BEEN
WILD AND CRAZY
Her mask went to Anne Matthews:
Ah, now I have not only wild and crazy weather, but
I also have a wild
and
crazy pink feather-haired mask to keep me company in my studio/computer
room/guest room! She's already hanging on the wall!
I believe she's a clown, but she looks far too feminine
and dainty for
clowning around! She has white skin and starry turquoise eyes
and rosy
cheeks to match her hair. A perfect heart for a mouth,
a starry beauty
mark
and beaded ornaments. Turquoise fringes frame her lovely face
Carol Huyett-Mellies lives in Circleville, Ks on a
few acres. We grow
gourds
and I do gourd art. We take our products to the county seat of
Holton
each
fall for their French Market. I was recently featured in the "Country
Times"
newspaper. I try to grow some new kinds of gourds each year.
