"Yes, as a matter of fact I would like to know." What was Alexis thinking? She implied that Ned was good in bed. Now she won't tell me what she is talking about. Jax fumed silently as he waited for his wife's response.
"Why should I tell you?" Alexis's face lit up with a smile. The anger she felt minutes before was dissipating as she teased her husband.
"Because you are my wife. Wives share things with their husbands." The lightened tone of the conversation heartened Jax. Still, he wanted to know about Ned.
"Husbands share with wives as well." Alexis came towards Jax and brushed up against him.
Jax could never resist his wife when she became flirtatious. He kissed her deeply as he tried to put Ned out of his mind, for now.
"Isn't this much nicer than arguing about Ned?" Alexis began unbuttoning her husband's shirt as she spoke.
Jax suddenly realized how he was going to get the information. He took his wife's hand and led her to the bedroom. "Much nicer." He grinned as the plan formed in his head.
Everybody at Carly's stood in stunned silence when Luke barged through the door. His patience quickly ran thin. "You love who, Barbara Jean?" Luke asked again, this time upset at her refusal to answer.
"Luke calm down. Who invited you, anyway?" Carly dreaded Luke's reaction to Bobbie's news.
"Your husband, Caroline. I have a tough question for you as well. Right now I am more interested in my sister." Luke still glared at Bobbie.
"Luke you can't demand things from me. You don't have that right." Bobbie tried to divert Luke.
"Well, Bobbie, I would like to be happy for you. If you are in love, I want to know. I will have a party for the happy couple. Why wont you tell me?" Luke smiled in hopes that his improved mood would hurry the conversation along.
"Didn't you come to talk to Carly?" Bobbie asked with a smile.
Luke looked her sister over suspiciously. As he studied her he saw the medallion. "Not the bat?" Luke groaned.
"Stefan is my husband. Be nice, Luke."
Luke held his head in his hands. "You learned the truth about him once, you will again. I need a drink."
"This isn't a bar Luke. What do you want?" Carly's patience was at an end long before this. She just hoped he would leave soon.
"I want to know what's wrong with you." Luke brought his head up to stare at her with the same intense eyes he had trained on Bobbie.
"What do you mean?" Carly asked shocked. He couldn't know.
"Your sick, right? What's wrong?" With Luke's question panic entered Bobbie's eyes.
Kevin and Scott looked at Laura and then each other in shock. "What did you say?" Scott finally spoke.
"You heard me Scottie, I'm pregnant." Laura kept her eyes averted. She planned her day carefully so the men wouldn't be together when she told them. Now that it had backfired, she feared their reactions.
"Why did you need to tell both of us?" Kevin asked worried he had guessed the reason.
"How far along are you?" Scott prepared to do the math while he waited for her answer.
"This isn't how it was supposed to happen." Laura said softly still looking down.
The men glared at one another. "Who is the father, Laura?" They asked in unison.
"The accident, Emily, tell me what happened." Stefan pleaded quietly. He knew she was upset. However, he needed to know about his son.
"We were supposed to meet at Kelly's." Emily sobbed softly.
"And then?" Stefan probed.
"I couldn't get a ride. He came to pick me up. It wasn't his fault. The other driver, he…" Emily sobbed violently as images of the crash flashed through her mind.
"Shh." Stefan came over to Emily and put an arm around her awkwardly. Crying women weren't exactly his strong suit. "I know it was painful. However, you need to calm down." He took the handkerchief out of his pocket and handed it to the crying child. "I need to know what happened." He said softly as the sobs subsided a little.
"The other car ran the red light. He was making a left turn. He hit the driver's side of the as Nikolas passed. Everybody else couldn't stop in time." Emily said the carnage, the honks, the screeching of tires, and the sound of crumpling metal echoed in her mind.
"What type of car, Emily? Did you see the driver?" Stefan needed to know, for his own piece of mind.
Emily tensed as she heard the question. She needed to tell Stefan, but how could she?
Eve knocked on the door at the address Sonny had left her and the limousine driver. What could Sonny possibly be planning? She asked herself as she waited. "Hi." She said nervously when Sonny came to the door.
"Thanks for coming, Eve." Sonny let her in.
"I thought this was a date. Who are your friends?" Eve noticed the other people in the room and tried to hide the disappointment in her voice.
"I am Jerry. This is V. Have a seat. You are a medic, right?" Jerry asked leading her to the couch.
"I am a Doctor." Eve replied curtly.
"You won't mind if we have that checked out?" Jerry asked with a smile.
"Yes I would." Anger rose in Eve's voice as she spoke. "Clue me in or I am leaving."
"Clue us both in." Sonny said smugly. "I brought the doctor, now talk."
Jerry and V glanced at one another. "Why don't you tell them, Luv?"
"You are the one who wanted to include them, dear." V added the last part mockingly.
"Quite right. We are on a mission for the WSB. Adding you both to the mission would be advantageous to us."
"I don't see what 'The Godfather' will do for you." Eve said with a smile to Sonny. "What's the mission?" It had to be more exciting than sewing up teenagers.
Jerry tossed two copies of the file onto the table in front of them.
After reading one of them, Sonny looked up. "Lucky?"
