Bangalore's Education

The education in Bangalore is great. Children start school at the age of 2½. They

go in to Baby Nursery at that time. After Baby Nursery is Kindergarten. Kindergarten

is divided into two parts, LKG and UKG. LKG stands for Lower Kindergarten, and

UKG stands for Upper Kindergarten. Then it’s grade school. Elementary school is first

thru forth grade. Middle school is fifth thru seventh grade. High school is eighth thru

tenth grade. Instead of eleventh and twelfth grade, Bangalore has Pre University. Pre

University is two years. Finally, it’s University, that is four years long.
