Bangalore’s government is Democratic. Democracy is a government by the people,
exercised either directly or through elected representatives. The newly elected mayor is Mr. M. Ramachandrappa. Under the mayor’s command are the eight sections that help run Bangalore. The first is the Bangalore City Police, which is the city’s police. Next is Bagalore Development Authority. The BDA is responsible for civic development of Bangalore. The third section is Bangalore Mahanagara Palike. This section takes care of the structure, budget, and committees of Bangalore. After that is Bagalore Telecom. Bangalore Telecom is responsible for the information telecom network, the services offered, and the directory of enquiry. The fifth section is Bagalore Water Supply and Sewerage Department. They are in charge of the management of water supplies and sewerage disposal. The sixth section is the Cedok. Cedok is the center for entrepreneurship development. Entrepreneurship is a free enterprise. The second to last section is the First National Judicial Pay Commission. The FNJPC examine the judicial pay structure. Finally, it’s the Regional Passport Office. They handle information on passport forms, status, and guidelines. The City Hall and Attara Kacheri, also know as the High Court, are some governmental buildings.
