Movies

usual suspects

The Usual Suspects

My favorite movie of all time. The writing, acting and direction were outstanding in this film. Kevin Spacey deserved the Oscar he won for his role as Verbal Kint, he is one of the best actors today as well as my favorite. This site has photos, cast information, links and other information on this film, released in 1995.

The Fugitive

This film stars Tommy Lee Jones, who won an Oscar for his role as Sam Gerard, and Harrison Ford. This movie, released in 1993, was all about Tommy Lee Jones, who was spectacular. This site loads quickly and offers credits, quotes, trivia, photos and cast information.

Swingers

This is a really funny film that is kind of difficult to explain. The writing was subtle and the actors were believable. Vince Vaughn was especially cool. This site is very nice, it offers a lot of information and reviews on the movie.

The Godfather II

The best sequel ever made by most accounts. Al Pacino is amazing in this movie and was robbed of the Oscar. Everything about this movie worked, the music, the acting and the cinematography. This site offers at least 100 pages on the trilogy and is available in several languages.

Eve's Bayou

I loved this movie because it was so beautifully written and the cinematography was incredible. Samual Jackson is one of my favorite actors. No matter how despicable his character is, he is intriguing and funny. This site offers information and an opportunity to listen to a portion of the soundtrack.

The Exorcist

My favorite scary movie. The highlight in Washington, D.C. for me was climbing the stairs from the movie's ending. This site takes a little longer to load, but offers information, sounds and clips of the film.

T.V.

The Simspons

My favorite television show I never miss. I love Homer the slack-jawed yokel, and all the characters played by Phil Hartman. There are so many classic episodes, I can't pick a favorite. This site takes a while to load, but has great graphics and lots of trivia.

Newsradio

I loved Phil Hartman on this show. I haven't really seen Newsradio since Hartman was killed, but the episodes he starred in were the best. This is the most comprehensive site, but takes awhile to load. The information available is worth the wait.

The X-Files

Who doesn't like this show? David Duchovny is really cool and the writing on the show is good.

Sportscenter

The last thing I watch before I go to sleep and the first thing I watch when I wake up. This site has daily listings of the show as well as extra features on the day in sports.
