Talk about holding on! The video for "One Headlight" was #1 for 1997 and it still was #11 for the top 50 of 1998!
Well, I don't know about the rest of ya'll but I got sort of ticked off when VH1 ran their A-Z Video History and only showed "Heroes" and "One Headlight" for the Wallflowers! but anyway, hopefully they'll re-run the Video History so set up your VCRs!!

The Godzilla soundtrack came out in stores on May 19th! It looks like a great CD with our guys, Ben Folds Five, and Jamaroqui as just a few of the talented musicians contributing to it!

They've joined the lineup for the Tibetan Freedom Concert and will be playing at RFK Stadium in Washington, DC on Sunday June 14th! All the musicians who perform in this lineup will be banned from China according to MTV news...

I was innocently watching MTV yesterday and Pras's new video "Ghetto Superstar" came on...I was just watching it and all of a sudden, I saw Jakob in the video! *L* A Wallflower in a rap video? Then I saw a short interview with Pras and he said that he loves the Wallflowers and Bob Dylan too and that Jake had wanted him to be in the "Heroes" video but their schedules had conflicted...I find that rather cool!

Hey..I had heard that Paige had her baby but according to Jakob when he called in to MTV to discuss the new Heroes video, she hasn't yet but should at pretty much any time!
During this phone interview to premiere the "Heroes" video, Jakob was being sort of a smart aleck (gotta love that!) and said that he didn't know they were about to show the video, that he had just called in for the "Wanna be a VJ" contest...*L*
WOO-HOO!! Congrats to the Wallflowers for nabbing 2 Grammys!!! They won in the categories for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song for "One Headlight"...Since the Spice Girls were not nominated for ANYTHING (hehe!) they couldn't possibly steal any awards from our guys THIS time!! Congrats also to Jakob's dad who took home 3 Grammys for Album of the Year, Best Contemporary Folk Album, and Best Rock Vocal Performance!

Jakob is rumored to be supplying the voice for one of the babies in the upcoming "Rugrats" movie....1, 2, 3...awwwwwww!! Hmmm...but what baby has that deep a voice?? Chuckie, perhaps?? I only hope this is NOT one of those instances when we all get our hopes up like the rumor about the "Great Expectations" soundtrack!! But supposedly there will be a song "Wrecked" from the Wallflowers on the soundtrack for Godzilla...This may just be the rumor mill grinding again but we can all hope!! (thanks for the news tips, lauren!!)
The other big rumor going around (and personally I do NOT believe this) is that the Wallflowers are going to do a "Got Milk?" ad...I just can't see Jakob posing for a picture with a milk mustache...doesn't sound like something they would do but I MIGHT be wrong...
As you should all know, the Wallflowers are back in the studio recording their third album which should be released around November of this year...don't know the title yet but some people on the net already have sound clips and the lyrics from some songs that might be on the album...
