As the FAdm noticed all his officers wondering what the next step was after watching the Klingons and the Romulans go at each other he new it was time to stop this. Alright, the time is now! We must move on Cardassia with a joint Fleet, Starfleet Intell has reported that the Hydack System is open with only about 9 Warships on partol there, this is the weak point we have been looking for, We need to move and move quick, Starfleet is ready we have almost all our ships ready to move, so I tell this to my Officers, go to your Fleets get them ready we shall be moving out soon, with our without the Klingons or Romulans. As the FAdm turned and looked at both the Klingon Adm K'Lay and Senator Broc from the Romulans, so what can you do for us here, can you get ships to move forward and help put a end to this war sooner?

***************************************************************************

Well FAdm, you shall have those ships, I can send you at least 10 Warbirds to help in this fight, they shall be on there way soon. We will stand with our New Allies and win this war......this is a Great day for Romulus and the Federation, oh yes and the Klingons.

"Fleet Admiral Bailey, if I may?" Says Admiral Starr standing.

"Be my guest," responded the Fleet Admiral.

"I am Admiral Starr L'Xidex, Director of Tactical Command. Computer. Main screen. Display tactical chart 12-999."

Acknowledged."

On complete wall of the conference room changed from a plain wall to a massive screen. On the screen appeared a chart of a star system.

"This is the Cardassian Sector we plan to attack." Admiral Starr pointed out the various Cardassian worlds and partol areas. She told them everything Starfleet knew about the area. It's strengths and weaknesses. Areas where to expect trouble, etc.

"If we are all in agreement, I'd like to have the Klingons attack from the left sector, the Romulans take the right sector, and Starfleet will take the middle. Of course, once in battle begins we'll be all over the place. I will confer with Starfleet Intelligence after this meeting and relay all known information throughout all ships. Any questions? Suggestions?"

As the Quicksilver approaches DS9,there is alot of traffic in or around the station,Cadet Harmon acknowledges the situation,"Admiral,DS9 in 6 minutes sir at current speed." Threats IV says motionless,"Slow to impulse power, and hail the Operations Officer at the station about our arrival and dock placement, and have a message sent to Admiral Paradis." the cadet nods his head in acknowledgement. The cadet works the operations console and sends the message to DS9.The screen shows teh face of the Operations officer on DS9,"Greetings Admiral nice to see you again." As the officer salutes."Greetings friend, where should we place our vessel what dock do you have open?",askes Threats IV. "Dock 17,sir is all yours.",replies the officer."Tell Admiral Paradis and FAdm Bailey that I have arrived.",declares the anxious Admiral yearning to see them again.

The Quicksilver is finally dock on Dock 17 on the underbelly of the station.Threats IV gets off,but before he does he tells his cadets,"To be ready for any thing we are here to help fight a war not to party." As they exit the starship,RAdm Threats IV looks with astonishment as Klingons and Romulans are getting along for once in a long time................................

"Greetings Admiral" was the only thing that LCDR Prozac, XO of the USS SAMARA could say out loud. He wanted to remind the upper echelon of United Starfleet Command that the South had once thought as they. Putting the minors in charge of the flanks leaving Picket to do his fateful charge.

In the back of his mind, Dr. Prozac was pondering the wisdom of splitting the Romulans and Klingons, and how he would have "mixed company" each under the command of their respective 'most experienced' officers. He also felt that Starfleet, taking the center without a mixed fleet, might be considered a type of condescension toward the two "warrior" races.....but only time would tell. He would either be commended for his wisdom or reprimanded for his minor insubordination by submitting such a suggestion.. But, as Admiral Yuchtar was well aware that Prozac really told it like he saw it, consequences be hanged. "May I make a suggestion?""I would like to propose a mixed fleet at all three locations. PLEASE, sorry, please--hear me out."

"With the Klingons and Romulans on opposite flanks, being two of the superior warrior races in the galaxy. Both still in grave distrust of each the other and especially distateful memories of Starfleet's subjugation of same; should we not mire the alliance with such trivial oversights?" "Each division should be commanded by a Board of Three; one superior officer from each faction. Full interaction with the fleet; full cooperation among the several peoples."

Just a suggestion, admirals......

LCDR PROZAC, XO: USS SAMARA

***************************************************************************

Yuchtar raises her voice enough to be heard over the irate squabbling of the other delegates present. "bljatlh 'e' ylmev!" She waved her hand in the air. "Okay, pipe down, everyone! The doctor didn't mean anything by that and I'll explain the facts of life to him while you finalise your plans." She grabs Dr. Prozac by the jacket sleeve and yanks him to the far corner of the room. It was a perfectly viable suggestion, Admiral ...." Prozac started to protest. "Perhaps in Human terms, but we aren't dealing with Humans here ..... With the Romulans and the Klingons at opposite flanks, each will try to outfight the other. They'll be a hell of a lot more fierce than if they tried to work together, which would only end in chaos. Understand?" Prozac nodded.

Yuchtar returned to her seat with a gracious smile to all and sundry as she took a healthy gulp of the blood wine waiting there for her. Kirok gave her a questioning frown and Yuchtar shook her head and indicated that she would explain to him later.

VAdm Yuchtar zantai-Klaan ,Military Operations Commander, USC

**************************************************************************

Dr. Prozac, in his usual bedside manner, glared at Yuchtar. In his mind he knew that the division of the three forces could spell disaster for the Federation but, being a starfleet officer he kept that thought to himself, and instead replied: "Now wait just a damn minute Admiral! You know as well as I that even though those two factions may try to outdo the other, there is still that element of "SAVAGENESS" within the genetic makeup of the Romulans that may turn them toward the center. You also know that the center will be ourselves ADMIRAL! Since we are the flagship of the MOC! Those Vulcan genes shared by the Romulans, ESPECIALLY those dealing with repressed feelings of barabarism will surface. I ask you this: Is Starfleet ready to deal with such a contingency? And, if I may point out, my suggestion offered is part of my duty as XO, to point out possible flaws and suggest alternatives to my CO; is that not correct, Admiral?" Yuchtar sighed heavily and in a fierce whisper replied, "Yes, Doctor - I've never disuaded you from speaking your mind, as if I ever could - but you've made your point and I've made mine, now *sit down* Doctor ....." Prozac returned to his seat only after being the recipient of a glance from the top brass of Starfllet Command. Although he knew there was a 73.9867% chance that his suggestion might be taken up for serious consideration, he was confident that his CO: Admiral Yuchtar, and his newly acquired friend Kirok, both fully understood the situation and would take those problems into consideration before the Admiralty board finalized the attack plans..... Prozac sighed, and listened intently to the rest......

Commodore Hughes of MOC Command speaks from his seat at the back of the room where he has been for the last 20 minutes listening to the arguements.

He asks about the Cardassian Fleet, < What shall we be expecting, in regards to the size of the Cardassian Fleet >

With this the Klingon commander stands and Pounds the Table with his hands, "Who are you, and why do you ask trivial questions about the size of an enemies fleet, size does not matter we will crush them like the Zarallian Eels that they are."

Commodore Hughes replies in an assertive tone, < As an experienced Military Officer, I do not beleive in making blind attacks without knowing at least what we are going to be up against, it is also my experience that these types of blind battles are the ones that end with major casualties >

The Klingon command Speaks the words "You Coward" with a snarling hiss behind it.<Who are you calling a Coward> asks Commodore Hughes.

"You" replies the Klingon, "in the Empire it is an honour to die in Battle" < Well, I am a Starfleet Officer, and we try any and all peacful approaches first.> answers hughes < And as for me being a coward, your wrong I would sacrifice my life in a second if I knew it would save Lives.>

With that Commodore Hughes leaves the Briefing Room, but not before saying goodbye to the Admiralty Board Members Present.

After a brief moment of stunned silence, un an effort to get back to business, an officer takes a drink of water and pensivly says:

Sir, just a suggestion. what about mixed atack groups, say 3 or 4 ship form all three groups .All eyes turn to who sits quietly, considering all the suggestion that have been made.

*******************************

The com beeped and an ensign informed Adm A* that the USS Quicksilver had arrived. She was surprized, but glad. The Quicksilver had been on adeep space mission and no one was sure it would get the message to return to DS9 at all, much less in time. Adm A* told the Ensign to acknowledge theQuicksilver's message and have them stand by for orders. Meanwhile, they were to takeas long a shore leave as this meeting permited, she was sure some of thecrew would need it. She then tried to turn her attention back to themeeting athand.

At this point, Adm. A* was wishing she was in Quark's with her crew. She recalled an old earth saying, something about too many specialized food workers in the cooking area. She tried to visualized Admiral L'Xidex's plan and all she could see in her minds eye were Romulans to the right ofthem, Klingons to the left, the Dominion all around and the USC fleet rightin the middle. It was all reminiscent of some battle in a war long ago, butshe could not remember the details at the moment, or whether the hero's of the moment survived.

Well, at least it was a plan, and hopefully the Romulans and Klingons can Keep their priorities in order long enough to make it work. Although events so far made even that hope a flimsy one.

****

As the FAdm turned and keep seeing all the faction yelling at one another he new it was time to take more action, Well lets settle down Commodore Hughes has a good point we need to work and find out what and what types ships the Dominion has there, SI Cmdr do you have any updated Intell.........

We need to look at all areas of the Fleet, I just wante us to look at this in a way that we can make a foot hold into Cardassia, If it takes a first wave of joint Klingon/Romulan/Starfleet ships then send in a second wave then we can do it.

****

Well we can send you extra FAdm if you would like to send them in Waves, that sounds like a good idea then they enemy would never new what hit them and how many more are coming in, or better yet have some cloaked and decloak to look like we have a much larger Fleet. What do you say Senator T'Azar Llire......Senator Broc turned and looked at her.....

*****

Rear Admiral Thraets IV steeps aboard the station and looks around,"Been a long time since I been here",he squabbles. "Admiral Threats,Admiral A* has acknowledged your presence and would like for you and your crew to stand-by for orders",recites the Ensign. "Understood and acknowledged.",says the Admiral as he taps his comm badge. Threats IV tells his crew,"Go ahead and have fun but be ready to get underway on a moments notice." Threats IV asks for Commander Uxbridge, which is one of Starfleets most prized doctors next to Captain El-Visir, to accompany him through his stay at the station. Admiral Threats asks Commander Uxbridge,"Have you met any of the crew from the Nazgul?" Uxbridge responds,"No I have not." "Well I have not either," speaking with eagerness Threats IV does. As RAdm Threats IV enters Quark's to see what is going on in there he sees no one familiar here but he hopes there is one or two of Adm A* crew here,so he can make conversation and light of this whole matter at DS9................................................

** ......Senator Broc turned and looked at her.....

****** Senator T'Azar Llire Romulan Empire ***

T'Azar drew her long black hair tied black hair behind her and looked around the table with her violet eyes. She had kept a low profile, sizing up these people who were asking her to risk her life. She did understand the danger to the Romulan Empire though, and knew the risk had to be taken. "I would say to keep one third of our fleet uncloaked and the rest cloaked. No need to lay all our cards on the table at once."

*****

From across the bar, Quark sees RAdm Rod Threats and a big grin spreads across his face. Threats was always a big spender and never quibbled about the tab, much, so Quark liked to keep him happy. Running up to Rod in his Ferengi way he said "So good to see you again,

RAdm Threats!! Will you be having the usual?"

"Yes, and is any of the crew of the Nazgul here?"Quark winced a little, but smiled and said "Yes, right this way." and lead Rod to a table in the corner where the some of crewmembers were still playing aloud and exciting Ferengi game of Aquisition. "They are going to wear out my game wheel." Quark whispered to Rod. The Caitian XO looked up and seeing Rod purrrrrred " HI! Good to see you! Are you hear to play or just watch?" Rod looked at the high stakes and said "I think I'll just watch for awhile." And sat with the crew, keeping an eye on the bar. There were some unsavory, very drunk Klingons at the bar making more noise than the crewmembers of the Nazgul.

As RAdm Threats IV looks more closely at the bar in Quark's he picks up bits and pieces of a meeting going on up stairs. Threats IV turns around and taps Commander Shaw, executive officer of the USS Nazgul, and asks her,"What is this meeting all about upstairs?" Shaw responds with a shrug of the shoulders and continues to play the game. Commander Uxbridge, Quicksilver-A's doctor, asks Threats IV,"Did you gather any info on what you heard?" The RAdm shakes his head in unknowing then says, "I have a gut feeling with the three super powers working together, there is going to be someone to commit treachery and the Federation might be in big trouble?" uxbridge responds,"Well Admiral Threats, you are one of the most experienced in military tactics and engineering in the fleet you might know what you are talking about." "Well Commander I hope I am wrong though because right now we are on the Dominions and Carassians doorstep and this will not be funny at all,"replies Threats IV. As the night goes on at Quark's there is alot of people drunk almost into a stupor and he looks around for any Starfleet officers in the mix ut does not see any,so him and Commander Uxbridge calms down but they are still weary about the drunk Klingons, which like to challenge people at any given time especially drunk like they are now.

So Threats IV gets Quark's attention, Quark moves over the Radm Threats IV mighty swiftly and asks if he wanted a refill. "Yes and get the commander here the same.",replies Threats IV."That will be right to you in a moment.",says Quark.
