**** Fleet Admiral Cliff ******

As the FAdm sat and watched Adm Starr show us a way to break the Fleet up to make the full attack on Cardassia, the FAdm interupted Adm Starr, Commodore Azarius I agree we need to work together to do what we are planning however we need to know the strenght of the Enemy fleet in that sector, what is your lates Intell on that. As the FAdm Sat back waiting on him to respond a Yoman walked into the room and handed the FAdm a pad, the FAdm started shaking his head and turned to Adm A, this is not good news, our plan didn't work she noded I see, before Commodore Azarius could start his Intell report, the FAdm intruped him as well. Our plan didn't work at all, As the Romulan Seantors and Klingons turned and looked at the FAdm with a strange look on there face. Let me explain, While we were having this meeting I sent the 11th Fleet in from Starbase 254 to attack Cardassia to draw there ships to that area, We lost allot o f Good ships and station in that sector so this has got to work, no matter to what the cost. The list of destroyed are as followed.... Starbase 254 Starbase Skyquest

Ships USS Saint Lucas USS Argyle USS Prophecy USS Blake USS Kestrel USS Tweeker USS Kingston USS Flagship

It is a loss to Starfleet, however this attack will be worth it, I don't care any more how many ships are in that sector we have a Fleet ready to move so lets head to our ships and procced with this attack. The FAdm's voice was very pushy, inform your Fleets of what we are doing. Good luck to us all.

Commodore Harkleroad, head of Star Fleet Intelligence, sat in the corner of the ward room away from the meeting table. He barely looked up from his PADD during the entire meeting. To look at him one would not be sure if he was even paying attention or not. FAdm Cliff turned to the commodore and asked him again for his input. Harkleroad sat down his PADD and out his hands together and tapped them against his lips. He looked up and began to speak, "Ladies and gentlemen our intelligence confirms that despite the fact that the Dominion is now cut off from the Gamma Quadrant due to the worm hole colapse, the Dominion is not as hurt as they could be."

"The Dominion forces are GREATLY weakened but we should not consider them defeated since the Dominion has began its Jem'Hadar breeding program here in the Alpha Quadrant.""One of the main reasons I have reservations about making this situation sound more promising is the tension that I am feeling in this room. The Dominion is weak, but this alliance is also weak! There is so much bad blood in this room alone that I feel no Romulan is going to trust the Federation and no Klingon trust the Romulans, and vice versa. We are all here to fight a common enemy, BUT we need to do it together! Now is the perfect time to become offensive, IF we can trust each other....forget all of our past wars....and get together in this war!"

Admiral Paradis' thoughts drifted for a moment to the moment just before she had left her ship to attend this meeting that was turning out to be a miniture war as each side agrued each attack plan proposed.

After she had read the recently received message from the Fleet Admiral concerning the lost of so many ships, so many lives lost, Adm A* simply bent her head in a moment of silence. She knew many of them as they had passed through the Academy. It was a personal loss for her.

"Commodore Azarius," Adm A* caught the attention of the understandably distressed Commodore, "Please see that my XO gets a copy of this report. My crew knew many of these people." "Yes, sir." The Commodore stood back from the table to attend to her solemn duty. Admiral A* was suddenly brought back to meeting by a loud bang as Admiral Starr hit the conference table, causing glasses to shake and stopping all talk.

"Gentlebeings!" thundered Admiral Starr. "All your suggestions are good ones. However, if we don't agree to a plan soon the enemy will die of old age before we get there! I propose that we start out as with a third of the Klingon Fleet on the left flank cloaked with a third of the Romulan Fleet on the right flank cloaked. This group can make a surprise initial attack. They will be quickly followed by the rest of the Klingon Fleet on the left flank, the Federation in the middle, and half the Romulan Fleet on the right. Those in favor of this plan raise a fist."

Kbee raised her hand, but her mind wasn't in it. The news of the destruction of one of her ships the USS Blake was tough. As she watched the others round the table, she saw a padd thrust in front of her. She looked up at the security ensign and smiled. Today wasn't a day to not be gracious, especially to this group of security who's nerves were on edge enough with both the Klingons and Romulans sharing a room. Kbee read the message, from Commodore Sati and the newly operational Station Delta. It brought more bad news. The USS Mariners chief of security and CMO had both died too. They both been injured in a recent skirmish with the Jem'Hadar and were in the medical facilities at the station. Sati had been unable to help and she was unable to leave the station to rejoin the Mariner as CMO for its next mission. There was no news from Captain Higgins. Captain Higgins still hadn't officially joined the USS Mariner after his court-martial. When he'd got his demotion to Captain he'd taken extended shore-leave and they still weren't quite sure when he'd be back. Kbee muttered out loud, "Just great, no tactical, no doctor and my engineer is on shore-leave." She got up and walked over to the window, using all her vulcan heritage to hide the anguish and grief.

Then she kicked the wall, with such force that the little flower vase, full of little pink bajoran posies, that had been put there to help raise the mood, fell off and shattered into a thousand little pieces.

She turned to look at the other occupants of the room who by now of course where all staring at her as if she'd gone mad. She shrugged her shoulders and walked the room, telling the Admirals she'd be in Quarks if they decided anything.

Five minutes later saw her nursing a very large alcholic drink, huddled in the corner at Quarks, trying to avoid the stares of Admiral A*'s cadets.
