Info on dragons

Dragons to me are very mystical and wonderious in all forms. So here is a brief background on this monstrous beast.

"EVIL Dragons"

Black Dragons: Can be typically found in swamps and marshes. Although they can be found in subterranean liars also. Black dragons always seek to lair in deep dark caves. They are abusive and quick to anger with an instinctive cunning and malevolence that makes up for their lower intelligence. They are extremely selfish and resent intrusions. The diet of these dragons are fish and mollusks. When they get meat from land, they like to let it soak in ponds near their lair before consuming it. The breath weapon of the black dragon was not that of fire. Their breath weapon was spitting acid.

Blue Dragons: These rare dragons can typically be found in deserts and in dry arid lands. Their lair is usually some vast cave or underground cavern. These voracious and possessive creatures are planners and thinkers. They spend long periods of time contemplating and preparing ambushes for their foes. Everything within the blue dragon's domain is considered their property. Anything that the dragon can see...is theirs. They are extremely territorial and very vigilant of their domain. They will eat anything, but they prefer herd animals. The breath weapon of the blue dragon is electricity(lightning).

Green Dragons: These rare dragons also have underground lairs. It can be found near woods or forests. They are very nasty tempered and thoroughly evil. Members of this species love to intimidate and frighten lesser creatures. They initiate fights for little or no reason. The green dragon will eat anything, even small trees and shrubs. Their delicacy is that of elven flesh. The breath weapon used by green dragons is chlorine gas.

Red Dragons: You can find red dragons dwelling in mountainous regions. They make their lairs in subterranean caves and in similar places. The red dragon is very greedy and avaricious. Out of all the evil dragons - the red dragon is the worst. Their personal wealth and power is an obsession. Every red dragon can recite their whole inventory of possessions down to the last bit of copper. This doesn't include Tiamat. The breath weapon of the red dragon is a stream of fire.

White Dragons: Cold regions to dwell is a favorite of the white dragon. They build their lairs in icy caves. Although not as intelligent as other dragons - they are just as evil and greedy as any. They are vicious and impulsive in nature. They consider to think in the terms of the here and now instead of planning for the future. These dragons react to their current needs and emotions without no regard to consequences and with no regrets. White dragons prefer any food that has been frozen. The breath weapon of the white dragon is a cone of cold(frost).

Chromatic Dragon - Also known as Tiamat - Tiamat rules the first plane of the Nine Hells where she spawns all of the evil dragons. She loves cruelty and hoardes wealth. Hardly ever leaving her lair, sometimes she comes to earth to place a new dragon or search for more wealth. When encountered in her lair in the Nine Hells - Tiamat will always have five guards with her - one huge adult white, black, green, blue and red dragons. Tiamat has five heads that can attack independently of each other. Her heads are white, black, green, blue and red - She is the "King Of Evil Dragons."

"GOOD DRAGONS"

Brass Dragons: You can find these uncommon dragons' lair in sandy desert regions. They are quite forward and meddling in nature and they love to converse. The breath weapons of the brass dragons are two different types. They can use either a cloud of sleeping gas or a cloud of fear gas.

Bronze Dragons: These rare dragons prefer to dwell in lairs near large bodies of water such as lakes or seas. Despite their love of wealth, these dragons are basically of beneficient in nature. Bronze dragons tend to be the most cheerful and good-natured of dragonkind. They love the simple challenges of riddles and harmless contests. Bronze dragons have a deep and abiding love for the sea and it's good creatures, while they enjoy feasting on aquatic plants and sharks. The breath weapons of the bronze dragon are two fold. They either use a bolt of lightning or a cloud of repulsion.

Copper Dragons: These uncommon dragons prefer to make their lairs in arid rocky regions. They tend to be selfish and thus many copper dragons are somewhat neutral in their outlook if gain is involved. Copper dragons enjoy a good hunt. To them, the sport is at least as important as the food it yields. When hunting, they prefer large, poisonous prey such as giant scorpions, which they can eat without fear of harmful effects. they appreciate wit, welcoming visitors who can tell them a new joke, humorous stories or clever riddles. They do not appreciate those whose failure to laugh at their own jokes. They have no patience for creatures who do not have a sense of humor to accept their tricks and pranks with a smile. The breath weapons of the copper dragons is either a spitting of acid like the black dragon or a cloud of gas.

Gold Dragons: Very rare indeed are the gold dragons. They dwell in any climate, but their lair is always made of stone. Whether the lair is a cave or some castle. The gold dragon loves precious metals and gems and use pearls and jewels as food. All gold dragons are lawful, just and good. They are also extremely intelligent. The gold dragon has two breath weapons. They either use a cone of fire or a cloud of chlorine gas.

Silver Dragons: Another very rare creature is that of the silver dragon. They establish their home on mountain peaks, clouds and similar places. It is claimes that this dragon can be found in the home of the King of Good Dragons (Bahamut) as well as behind other winds as well. As a species, these dragons are kind and helpful. They cheerfully offer assistance to goodly creatures in genuine need. These dragons eat the same kind of food as humans do. The breath weapons of the silver dragon is either a cone of frost or a cloud of paralyzing gas.

Platinum Dragon - Also known as Bahamut - The King Of Good Dragons. He dwells in a great fortified palace behind the east wind - (No one knows for sure if this place is on the Elemental Plane of Air - The Seven Heavens). One quarter of the time, he roams the earth in the quise of a human or any other form he chooses. He can either travel ethereally or astrally. There are seven huge ancient gold dragons of the highest loyalty that serve Bahamut as guards, companions and advisors. He is seldom without them.

"NEUTRAL DRAGONS"

Sapphire Dragons: The sapphire dragons control the subterranean domains. While most of the territory above the realms belongs to the emerald dragons, they keep a small portion of the surface area as their own as well as the extensive caverns beneath the tropical jungles. Of all dragonkind, perhaps the sapphire dragons are the most militaristic. They protect their territory from outsiders, going as far as to distrust everyone who even comes close to their borders. Giant spiders make up most of the sapphire dragons diet. While militaristic and warlike in nature, they are not quick to attack. They like to observe the intruder so they can formulate the best way to deal with them. The breath weapon for the sapphire dragon is a cone of high pitched, almost inaudible sound.

Emerald Dragons: Emerald dragons live among the tropical southern waters. They are a curious species, taken to keeping track of history, lore and customs. They tend to be very reclusive. Emerald dragons love privacy so far as to determine where the dragons lords and their spawn establish their lairs. Emerald dragons build their domains around inactive volcano ranges. Emerald dragons are not finicky eaters. They do prefer lizards and giants, but they will eat anything in a pinch. Emerald dragons get along best with Sapphire dragons and they fear the red dragon because of their greed. The breath weapon of an Emerald dragon is a loud wail that sends sonic vibrations through the enemy.

Topaz Dragons: These dragons inhabit the temperate coastal regions, building their lairs below the water line, constructing them to remain very dry. They do not like the water, but will swim to hunt, attack or to reach their lairs, but not for enjoyment. They love to eat fish and other seafood. Their favorite is the giant squid. While not malicious, these dragons are not the best of company nor to deal with. They display erratic behavior which is confusing and unsettling. Unless it specifically interests or affects them, Topaz dragons tend to be indifferent to the causes and concerns that occupy the rest of the dragonkind. It takes time to develop a friendship with these dragons...but once it is formed, it's a lifetime friendship. The breath weapon of the Topaz dragon is a cone of dehydration.

Crystal Dragons: These friendly dragons of the north spend much time learning about the world around them. While solitary in nature, they welcome visitors who come by to them with good intentions. These dragons establish their domains in the cold northern reaches, building their castles out of snow and ice. The White Dragons consider the Crystal dragons as prey, so the two clans are constantly in conflict. Like other benevolent dragons, the Crystal dragons would rather talk than fight. Metal ores and gems are the preferred food of these dragons. The breath weapon of the Crystal dragon is a cone of glowing shards.

Amethyst Dragons: The most powerful of the neutral dragons. They are honorable and regal dragons. They inhabit northern mountains, living on the shores of isolated lakes and pools. They approach life with a detached air, ignoring the conflicts of good and evil. They see these conflicts as petty squabbles over inconsequential points of view. While Amethyst dragons consider their Silver and Copper cousins to be foolish and have an active dislike of red and white dragons, they don't consider any life form to be their inherent enemies. Amethyst dragons eat large quantities of fish and gems. Most keep at least one hidden underwater cave for seclusion and secrecy. The breath weapon of the Amethyst Dragon is a faceted, violet lozenge, spit at 75 feet, explodes with concussion force damaging creatures near the explosion.
