The Variable Pistol has an advantage in that it may be set in the field to a specific type of ammunition, and changed according to need. Most handguns fire standard ammunition, and must be modified to fire other types as well. The guns carried by the Punisher are of Variable type. This is a 1-handed weapon. Some makes and models are semi-automatic.
