Our Characters
Well DC Fans we now join our five heroes, all here to enter the tournament, as they are hounded by the media and then crossed by opinion. Superman has already left to investigate the rules and events of the tournament, with many other worthless fighters following in his footsteps. The superheroes have a right to be there. None of our heroes know that evil is in their midst, evil known as The Dark Guyver..
Reporters hound Bruce Wayne with questions about the tournament. His protogee's such as Virgil Hawkins are left completely alone to ponder there thoughts about the tournament.
Reporter: "Bruce, why are you joining the tournament knowing you will have to go up against people as strong and maybe even stronger than the mighty Man of Steel.?"
Bruce: "As you know I am an established martial artist who knows all about defense tactics and the like, and I reserve the full right to enter whatever the hell I please, including tournaments. No further questions thank you."
The reporters step away and begin to hound Lex Luthor about his sponsorship deal with the tournament.
Bruce Wayne questions his young accomplice, Virgil Hawkins, about his reasons for joining the tournament, not knowing his secret identity.
Virgil: "My reasons for joining this thing are because of...I prefer not to say. And the fact that if I win I'll have more than enough money to buy a Ferrari with."
Stunned by this answer Bruce looks to his other colleagues in astonishment.
Bruce: "I like your spirit young man. Tell you what, if you don't win this tournament, I'll give you your own personal Ferrari. And you know I'm good for it."
Laughter is exchanged by the group of heroes, and they prepare to board the plane that is to take them to the secluded island where the portal is placed. Suddenly a large light erupts from the ground and melts the train track above itself. A slender, well built individual steps out of the portal and steam is exhausted from the 'cheeks' of his head. He extends his spike and starts slicing the strut of the train track. Black Lighting changes into his uniform and welds the train track and strut back together with his amazing powers of electricity. The monster is none to pleased about this and lunges at Black Lightning. Black Lightning jumps out of the way of the monster, in awe of his incredible speed. Bruce Wayne rushes into a nearby building and changes into his uniform. He becomes Batman, a vigilante who strikes fear into the hearts of criminals.
Batman: "Time for you to stop this nonsense. You can either go quietly, or leave in a bodybag."
Individual: "My my Batman, or should I call you Bruce? We haven't even been properly introduced yet, my name is Dark Guyver, prepare to meet your maker!"
The Dark Guyver launches himself at Batman, claws forward, and ready to strike. Batman jumps onto the smoldering train tracks, and tells the other heroes to assemble. Virgil Hawkins transforms into the well-known teenage hero known as Static Shock. Wally West and Kyle Raynor, alias The Flash and Green Lantern, don't plan to sit idly by while this happens.
