Andrea ~ Caroline ~ Jim ~ SHARON

Sharon is the second eldest of the siblings. Born on March 24, 1970, two years
younger than Jim. She started learning
the violin at the age of six. She was taught by a priest called Father McNally.
And it was Father McNally who, you could
say, encouraged her love of music and made her closer to the classical music she
plays today. When she was around
seven to fourteen, she was part of the Redeemer Youth Orchestra and was a proud
member! She is also proud that she
has only ever missed one violin lesson in her life. Now, she is a professional
and is capable of teaching.
Sharon went to school at the Dun Lughaidh Convent, where she wasn't exactly a
perfect student. She was suspended
from school on two separate occasions for skipping lessons. She was caught both
times and realized she just didn't fit
doing that. So, she tried concentrating on her studies. A nun once told her she
was going to be a failure all her life. But
she didn't disagree. She just kept trying. Look at her now! She's amazing! And
no one can go against it!
As a teenager, Sharon's bedroom was full of posters of pop and rock bands, with
her favorite singer Paul Young taking
"pride of place" on her bedroom wall. It was a typical schoolgirl
crush, and something that she still cringes about even
now. Her music tastes today have changed very little and she is equally
comfortable listening to diverse music, ranging
from classical to heavy rock.
