Talking of the gods brings up one question, the original or the new? Phaerix was created and left to tend itself. The gods abandoned their new creation and moved on…no one knows why……………

Gods

The Ancients: Aeriss, Grim, Noble, Kralan, Fareil, Kallei, Illgotten, Spacial, Ellis, Ka’ra’namor, Ky’ra’namor, Azure, and Trix. They are the original 13 that created magic. There are only 2 or 3 other known gods outside of these that have had anything to do with the history of Phaerix.

Aeriss the One, the original founder of all that is magical. He was the first to find and learn what magic was. Without this man it is believed the world would not exist today for it would have destroyed itself. Early in his life Aeriss was astounded by the clerical magics that existed. He believed that if wonderful things like this could be done just in healing then it must exist in other things as well. And he was correct, for he found others and with them they created ninety percent of the knowledge that exists on magic. He is the strongest of all gods but has not played an active role in the shaping of Phaerix’ history in centuries. Those that worship Aeriss, be it good or evil, are always seeking more, knowledge, power, love, anyone who is devoted solely to seeking out one thing tend to worship Aeriss in all his glory.

Grim the Omega, a cleric that worshipped the old gods that left the plane he was wrought with a plague. The plague ravaged his body and none of the clerics could help him in any way other then to slow his miserable death. He seeked out Aeriss and joined with him in an attempt to turn clerical magic in upon itself. He was very successful in this as he started the magics of necromancy. He eventually separated from the others to work on darker parts of necromancy. He eventually stole and absorbed enough life force from others to where he would live and be ok. The followers of Grim are almost always evil, some being of a neutral alignment that lean towards the darker side. They are concerned with themselves. They ask not what they can do for you but what can you do for them?
