Act 3: The Reasons for it all
Scene 1: Hi! My name’s Nobori and this is my story…
Small fire, campsite. There’s a log for sitting, and the scene is empty. The fire crackles a bit, and Zane walks near it and warms up. Nobori walks in, carrying a whole bunch of sticks. He drops them on the ground, stretches and yawns.
N: Wow. My legs are dead tired. (Stretches some more.)
Z: Yeah, well, I’m tired too. All this running has tired me out. But you have things you need to tell me. Alot of things. A lot, A lot of things. You hear me writer?! A LOT!!! Anyway, there’s a lot of things I don’t understand Nobori. I mean, tell me everything there is to your story and how is it connected to Soten.
N: Very well. I am a swordsman, from the land of Furen. From what I know of Soten, he is a dark wizard. Our village in Furen is of the SwordsZ.
Z: Swordss?
N: SwordsZ. (Spells it out on the ground.)
Z: Oh. Continue.
N: As I was saying, the SwordsZ village is famous for the superb sword skillz that are learned there.
Z: What does your village have to do with anything?
N: If you let me continue, then you’ll understand. Now, the swordsman from SwordsZ have great skill. I am one of the three top ranking students of SwordsZ.
Z: Woah. GO Nobori!
N: Thank you. The real truth is that though I am one of the three, I am the lowest three. The other two are so superb compared to I that we shouldn’t even be classified with the same rank. However, they were no match for Soten. Our village, being made of swordsmen, dislike magic and we avoid it all at costs. Its shameful to use the power of magic. Strength should come from one’s own skill, not some magic incantation that allows you to shoot out projectiles at will.
Z: Yeahhh, real men shouldn’t use magic. (Shifts his gun so that it isn’t in view of Nobori.)
N: Because we dislike magic, it is obvious that nothing magical will be there. All magic items are expelled off of SwordsZ, save for a few cure items. Yet, there is one magic item that is located in SwordsZ.
Z: So, just get rid of it then. That way, SwordsZ won’t have any magic stuff. Duh.
N: I wasn’t asking you opinion.
Z: Oh, um, nevermind. Continue.
N: As I was saying, that one magic item is the Staff of Dark Energy. It radiates an immense dark aura and can unleash a powerful wave that fills the object with dark energy. That dark energy can do three different things. It can immediately vanquish the object, it can recharge evil objects, or it can cause the object to slowly turn evil.
Z: Objects? Like pots and pans?
N: Yes, but it can include living things too. This powerful item is located within the chamber of Magiz a No NO.
Z: What?? Magiz a No NO?
N: Yes, magic is negated. The chamber is large enough for 3 people to fight and not touch the walls. In there, the staff is located. However, though the staff’s magic is negated, it still radiates a dark aura.
Z: Aura?
N: Yes, all things radiated auras. Normal objects, like pots and pans radiated a blank aura. Trees, the stars, rabbits and deer radiated light auras. Evil beings like Soten radiate dark auras. These auras can be felt if one knows how.
Z: The staff that Soten holds is the Staff of Dark Energy then?
N: Yes. We made it easy for him to locate. The Staff of Dark Energy radiated a dark aura that even the light auras of the swordsmen of SwordsZ couldn’t block out. He appeared out of nowhere, and defeated several of our beginning swordsmen, who didn’t know how to defend against magic attacks. We all attacked him, and we were all thrown back.
Z: We meaning the experienced swordsmen who knew how to defend magic?
N: Yes. However, Soten didn’t use magic against us. He radiated his own dark aura and made our auras fade. An aura attack makes you considerably weaker, but it doesn’t last long for your own aura usually rises and repels the other aura. However, Soten was a skilled fighter. In our weaken states, he defeated us. He penetrated the Chamber and the two swordsmen who did not fall prey to his attack followed him. I didn’t know what happen in that chamber, for a couple of minutes later, they were both ejected out of the chamber and the chamber exploded. Soten was hovering over the shambles and in his hand was the Staff of Dark energy. He cast Dark energy over them, and they laid still. He then disappeared. I ran to them, but there was something funny about them. Their eyes were blank, yet they still were alive. I hated Soten and I wanted to destroy him.
Z: Why did Soten need the Staff of Dark energy?
N: To increase his strength I guess.
Z: What happen next?
N: The swordsmen were all okay, except for high class ones.
Z: Why isn’t that you use their names? (Shocked look on Nobori.)
N: Um. Yes, it is ok now. Trui and Seo were still blank. The elder couldn’t figure out why they were still like that. Then I realized what happened. The spell that came from the Staff of Dark energy was not a magic spell, but a intensified Aura spell. Trui and Seo were fighting off the dark aura, and it would be many days before it could be repelled off. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough time for the aura to be repelled.
Z: Why wasn’t there enough time?
N: A monster came into the village. It was a Drecha..
Z: Drecha, Drecha, DRECHA! That’s an evil dark half wyvern half dragon. Incredibly strong and even more evil, these creatures can destroy towns in mere seconds. However, they are extremely vunerable to ice.
N: Yes. That Drecha attacked us, and killed Trui and Seo while they were still in their Aura-shock. We killed that Drecha but it was too late.
Z: I am sorry.
N: It’s all Soten’s fault. I left Furen to find him and repay him for the evil he caused. However, it has taken me quite a long while to find him. And now that I found him, he seems to be even more stronger than before.
Z: Don’t worry, we’ll defeat him. Wait, there’s more to ask.
N: Yes, but let us rest now. We can talk again tommorw.
Z: Alright. Nite then.
(Zane falls a sleep. Nobori looks up at the sky. Camera looks up and catchs the sky.)
Scene 2: The end of one tale begins another
Burned out fire, Sky is bright. Zane gets up. Nobori is nowhere is sight. Zane yawns, then stops. He hears “Oreyaaaa! Oreyaaa! Uhhheui!!! He gets up and walks a little ways. He watches Nobori practicing the sword. Zane claps.
Z: Good show.
N: Humph. Shall you train too?
Z: HMM? Without breakfast? Not me! Now, where’s Aistea, he has all the food. Oh damn! He’s gone. I’m so hungry.
(Scene cut to Aistea. He holds up a bag. He goes heheeheheh.)
N: You may have some of mine, if you train some.
Z: Fine. Alright, here I go!
Zane does amazing stuff. He does a triple kick in the air, backflips, spins around, stands on his head, does a couple of punches, does a summersault, a backspin kick, crouching tiger stance, L stance, throws a couple uppercuts, then flies around. Jk.
Z:Whoa, what a workout! Now come on and dish out the grub.
N: Hmmm. You got some good stuff.
Z: Well, yeah. But I really lack some of the power behind those moves. I can’t connect my moves with the opponent. Aistea can, but I can’t.
N: Aistea? Your friend right? Where is he now?
Z: How the hell am I suppose to know?! That guy is such a jerk! Left because he lost!
N: I see. Did he give it all he had? The fight I mean?
Z: Yeah! He was like at full maxim capacity!
N: He still lost even though he was at maxim capacity?
Z: Well, yeah, I mean… oh.
N: Don’t insult your friend anymore.
Z: Well, he should have tried!
N: Yes, maybe he should have. But maybe reality set in. He isn’t as strong as he thought he was, and maybe that broke his spirit.
Z: Aistea being broken of spirit? No, that can’t be. He always prevailed no matter what.
N: Except this time.
Z: Shit! (Zane looks stressed and depressed mix.)
N: Let’s eat now. Go get firewood.
Z: Alright. (Zane walks away. Nobori opens up his bag and starts taking out food items.)
Scene 3: What else has been happening
Cuts away to Soten and Evarile.
Soten is standing with the staff of Dark E. in his hand. Evarile is tied up, with some dirt rubbed against her cheek. Her left knee is dirty. Her ankles are tied up and she sits on her thigh, with her feet sticking to the right. She is leaning against a rock, and a wisp of hair is stranded against her face. She doesn’t look too happy. Soten’s head is down, and the wind blows. He starts to mutter a few words.
S: Fading fast and true, as light as air, light for two, reappear far from here…
E: What are you doing? LET ME GO ALREADY!!!!!
S: Let wind leave us not here, WARP!!!!
Scene buzzes out.
E: Nooo o o oo o oo o ooo!!#!@!
Scene 4: Zane, Nobori, and the DESERT
Cuts back to Zane and Nobori
They’re walking, the forest area is quiet. The sky is deep blue, with not a single cloud in the air. The wind doesn’t blow. The ground loses it earthyness and gives to sand. All of a sudden, the forest ends, and desert appears.
Z: What the? Desert? Damn, stupid writer! Stop making it so hard!
N: Who is this writer you keep speaking too?
Z: Writer? Oh, I didn’t say writer. I said tighter! Yeah, tighter?
N: Tighter?
Z: Yeah, hey look oasis!!
N: Where? I’m so thirsty I could…Wait a minute, we haven’t even stepped into the desert yet.
Z: Oh, my bad. (Dodged that one. Wipe his brow.)
N: How shall we cross this desert?
Z: Hmmm, let’s just walk. It can’t be that far.
N: How bout water and supplies?
Z: Look, it can’t be that big of a desert.
N: Ok….
(Zane and Nobori walk. They just walk, and walk. 3 minutes later, they come out of the desert.)
N: What the? What kind of desert was that?
Z: Hmm, it must have been the beginning of a desert. Look, the grass is dying and giving into sand.
N: You’re right. What can be causing this?
Z: Who knows? World’s polluted, people litter and burn up stuff, releasing bad gasses into the air. Environment is in danger, and its only up to you to help save the environment. (Points toward the camera.)
N: Well, what about you? Why am I responsible?
Z: I didn’t mean you, you. I meant, oh, it doesn’t matter. Lets go, we have a evil villain to destroy and a girl to rescue. Do you think she’s ok?
N: I don’t know. If the scene changes, she’s alive. If it doesn’t, she must be dead.
Z: Okay. Do do do deed um. Hurry and change scene. NOOOOOOOOOOOO! She can’t be dead!
N: Its ok, things happen. Like for inst-
Scene 5: Bed scenes (Its not what you think)
cuts to Evarile and Soten. They’re in a room. She’s on a bed.
E: I’m not dead. And its not what you think. (She lies there, with her eyes closed.)
S: Stay there.
E: Like I can move, stupid! Tied up remember?
Soten shakes with anger. He leaves the room. He walks into a bigger room, where there is a mysterious figure, (yes, another one) in the middle.
MF: Soten, have you secured the girl?
S: Yes. What is to be done with her?
MF: First, make her dress into these clothes. Then take the pendant and use the Staff of Dark E. to change the aura from light to dark. Then put the pendant back on her, and then shoot her with the Dark E. Her precious pure aura shall transfer from her to the pendant, and change into OMNI. Finally, I shall be able to rebuild the world the way it should be.
S: She doesn’t have the pendant. Why does she need to wear the clothes? Are you sure it’ll change?
MF: I’ll have little shrines dedicated to me, a Big ass House, she doesn’t have the pendant!!!!!!! Pluz, why u asking me so many questions?
S: Just to make sure. And no.
MF: No, she does? Oh good then. I thought she didn’t have it.
S: She doesn’t.
MF: SHE DOESN’t!
S: No.
MF: No, she does? Ok, so she does have it.
S. No, she doesn’t have it.
MF: What! Why didn’t you just say that?! Wait, where is it then?!
S: Maybe she gave it to her companions.
MF: Find that pendant.
S: As you wish, sir.
Soten leaves, and the mysterious figure sits, muttering,
MF: No pendant. Can’t even say she doesn’t have. Confusing me like this.
Scene 6: Sup.
A: Hi. Its been a while since I had a scene. My name is, hey, wait, don’t switch-
Scene 7: You can count on me, buddy..
Returns to Zane and Nobori. They are close to the castle, little small castle made of legos in the distance.
N: We are almost there. We should rest and storm the castle tommorow.
Z: Its only midday!
N: Yes, but we should rest. Today may be our last day alive.
Z: What? Why?
N: Cuz Soten might kill us.
Z: What? What kind of attitude is that?
N: You’re right. You should rest.
Z: Exactly.
N: I shall say a prayer for you.
Z: Thank you. Hey, wait a minute!!! If anyone’s going to die, its not going to be you!
N: I know.
Z: Wait, I meant to say me!
N: I know, you’re going to die.
Z: No no no!
N: Hahahaa. Lets rest. We shall be better prepared.
Z: Fine!! Man, worse than Aistea.
A: No one’s worst than I am.
Z: NObori is.
A: Ahem.
Z: What?
A: What you mean what? You damn moron!!!
Z: Aistea!!! (Aistea walks into the scene. He’s carrying a sword on his back)
A: Hey.
Z: You’re Back!
A: Yeah, I just came to say, You big ass moron!!! You actually pulled your gun on me?!!! Plus, you wanted to save that girl, even though you’re sure your going to die.
N: Told you so.
Z: Shut up.
A: Furthermore, I didn’t have a scene for such a long time!!!
Z: Hey, that’s not my fault.
A: Yes it is. See, technically, because of your stupid actions, you forced me to leave, and after my scene at the cave, since you happen to be the main character, all the scenes revolved around you, not me, so that’s why its your fault!
Z: What!?!?! I’m going to kick your ass punk.
N: Hold on. Well, technically he is right. This movie does have to focus on you, so by your stupid actions, you did make him lose scenes.
Z: What?!?!? (Rock falls down. There’s a message on rock.”
ROCK: SHUT UP!!! GO SAVE GIRL. FIGHT!
Z: Oh yeah.
A and N: oh yeah. ( They point at each other.) Knew something was off.
Z: Let’s GO!!!
Wind blows. It howls.
Z: Whoa.
A: What the hell?
N: Bad omen.
The wind roars and howls. The leaves rustle. Tone becomes serious. Aistea draws out his sword.
Z: Where’d you get that?
A: you know, destiny.
Z: Oh.
Nobori draws out his sword. Nobori looks serious. Zane pulls out his gun.
Z: Let’s turn it up and out.
