ACT 4: Give Way

Scene 1: Brief Encounter

Camera circles around N,A,Z and they’re all ready to kick ass. Suddenly, the wind stops. Soten appears.

S: THe pendant.

A: This fool again. I’m gonna kick your ass punk!

N: Soten. Finally, prepare to meed the end. I shall now finally be able to avenge all that was stolen from me.

Z: Where’s Evarile?! Give her back to me now!

Soten just stares. Never wavers.

S: The Pendant. Give it to me.

A: HA! Like we’re going to give you the pendant. WTH is the pendant btw?

N: I was wondering too.

Z: Don’t look at me, I don’t have it.

S: None of you have it. I have no business with you then.

A: Hold on. You’re not going escape without feeling my wrath!  HAAAA!

Initate Battle Scene

Battle Music from Legend of Mana.

Create Choreography. Aistea jumps with his sword in air and swings down, only to have Soten bust out his staff and counter. With Aistea is the air, Nobori is running toward soten from a different side, with his sword out at the right side of him, as if he was going to swing it from right to left. However, Aistea is pushed back and Nobori jumps out of Aistea’s path and then attacks Soten with a strike from above. Soten Counters, but Nobori continues to push and Soten is forced to push back. Zane strifes and helps Aistea up and then looks for an opening to shoot Soten. Soten sees and releases a energy blast into Nobori, who is sent flying back. Soten then prepares his staff to block Zane’s shot. Zane crouches, then aims, and Soten places his staff pointed at Zane, and Zane falls to the ground. Aistea then jumps over Zane with Sword high in the air and Soten is shocked, but manages to block by holding the staff with two hands. Zane then hurls himself into Aistea’s sword forces SOten back. Aistea lands on his face while Zane steps on him and shoots. A sharp piercing “Poofm” is heard. Soten is still, and his left Shoulder pad falls to the ground, cracked in half. Dark blood starts to ooze from his shoulder. Soten is pissed. Soten starts “KAZ--“ but Nobori strikes his other shoulder from behind. Soten screams arrgh, and turns around and goes KAZE! Nobori flies back, and his sword is released from his hands. Aistea already is up, and he lifts his sword up and strikes Soten in the back. Nobori is down on the floor, face down and doesn’t seem like he’s alive. Zane dashes to Nobori’s side, and Aistea slashes again, only to meet Soten in the face. Soten Releases another Kaze and Aistea is sent flying back. He loses his sword. Zane aims and a crack is heard. Soten falls down on one knee. His head turns to face Zane, who is busy reloading. Soten stand up with the aid of his staff and then starts to use Dark Energy. However, Aistea is already back on his feet and launched himself straight into Soten. Soten hits the ground and he struggles with Asitea. He kicks Asitea off and Zane runs and elbows Soten. Soten screams in pain and strikes Zane in the head with his staff. Nobori is up and finds aistea’s sword. He runs and stabs Soten. Soten becomes silent, and falls to the ground.  Asitea and NObori and Zane stand over him.

Z: He’s gone.

N: Its’ over.

A: It’s finally done.

Z: Where’s Evarile?

A: Who?

N: What?

Z: EVarile!! We have to rescue her.

A: Right, Let’s head toward the castle. Soten seemed much weaker than before. (Zane runs ahead.)

Nobori and Aistea run toward the castle together.

N: Yeah, I never thought that the battle would be so short. But it was so sweet.

A: Yeah, finally its over. Let’s hurry up and save that “damsel in distress.”

N: Right. What do you think Soten meant by pendant by the way?

A: NO freakin idea. Don’t matter though.

Aistea and Nobori catch up with Zane. They run into the distance. Camera swoops back and Soten moves. Fade out.

Scene 2: Castle Gate

Zane is in the front. He is looking at the Huge doors. Aistea and Nobori are on his sides.

N: How do you suppose we get in?

A: Well, I suppose we could try to break a hole…

N: Hole you say? Intriguing.

A: Well, you see, first we’ll build a fire, then heat our swords right?

N: I see. Then with our heat swords we slash the door right?

A: Right, it should only take an hour or so.

While Aistea and Nobori are talking, Zane pushes the door open.

Z: Evarile!!!!

Aistea and Nobori turn around.

A: What? It was that easy?

N: Where’s the challenge?

Zane rushes in. Aistea and Nobori follow.

Scene 3: Making the Connections

They appear in a large room. Evarile is in a corner, differently dressed, but still tied up. She’s gagged up and in a cage.

Z: Evarile!!!

E: HRMRMGHH GHRHRMR GHRMRMRH!

A: How do we get her out of the cage?

Zane rushes to Evarile.

Z: Evarile! I’m so glad you’re not dead!

E: HMMM? HMMM!!! HMMMMMMMMMM!!!

N: I suppose we can cut and slash out the cage?

Z: Maybe we can find a KEY!

N: Fine.

MF: What are you doing here.

Aistea and Nobori and Zane all turn around.

The mysterious figure steps into the room. He is tall, and wearing light robes. In his hand is a book.

MF: I said, what are you doing here?

A: Who the hell you be?

N: Who the hell you be? Its who the hell are you!

Z: Damn morons! Its who the F-

MF: I’m Eron. I’m the keeper of this castle. What are you doing here?

Z: We’re here to rescue my Evarile!

Evarile spits out her gag.

E: Your Evarile! I’m not an object!

N: She’s right.

A: Got you there.

Z: ARrrgh. I meant I’m here to save Evarile.

EMF: (Eron, Mysterious Figure) She’s not to be rescued. She is mine.

E: What! I’m not yours either!!!

A: Ahem. Anyway, do you have the key to open this cage?

EMF: Of course, its right here. (He takes out a key. It’s a cardboard square that says “The Key”)

A: What? WTH!!!

N: Let’s get it!

Z: SHouldn’t we ask if we can have it?

N: Noooo. Its obvious that he’s imprisoned her. He must have been in cohorts with Soten.

EMF: Where is SOten anyway?

A: Killed him. Gonna kill you too. Hehehehehe.

Nobori looks at asitea queerly.

A: What? Let’s fight.

Aistea pulls out his sword and dashes toward Eron. Aistea strikes but Eron moves out of the way and slaps Aistea with the book. Aistea is pissed and they engage in a one minute action sequence. Result, Aistea is blasted by with the power of Eron.

A: Damn it. (Breathing hard)

N: Hmm. My turn.

Nobori draws out his sword and strifes toward Eron. Nobori does a double attack but Eron deflects both with his book. Nobori jumps back.

N: Damn, you have to tell me where you get those books. They’re strong as steel.

EMF: Oh, yeah, had these books magically protected. You know, to prevent wear and tear. Better than all that vacuum seal stuff. Much more efficient.

N: I see.

Z: Man, let’s kick his ass.

EMF: I don’t think so. Soten.

S: Yes.

N: he’s dead.

A: Yeah, he’s dead.

Z: Yeah, he is dead, and he better not have actually survived and is behind us right now.

A and N: Yeah!!

S: Too bad. KAZE!!!!

Aistea and Nobori and Zane all fly forward.

Z: Damn, he was behind us.

A: No shit Zane. What gave it away, the fact that he answered Yes, or the fact that he blew us away?

N: I would think it would be the yes.

A: yeah, I think that too. Well Zane, what gave it away?

Z: For a minute, I thought you were going for being sarcastic.

A: Ha, wait, I was.

EMF: SOten, have you the pendant.

E: Hi! Just wanted to say still tied up, life still on a thread, three guys should have already rescued me!!!!

Z: Sorry, don’t go anywhere. I’ll be right there.

E: That line is so overused.

A and N: So true.

EMF: SOten!

S: Neigh. The trio of fools claimed that they didn’t have it and assaulted me.

A: IT’s called REVENGE. Don’t claim assault, sounds like we just jumped you for no reason. Heheheehe.

E: You lost my pendant Zane!!! You really are the worst!! After  you said you would keep it safe for me!

Z: What? I have your pendant!

N: you have her pendant?

Z: Of course, I’m not irresponsible.

S: Why did you say you didn’t have it?

Z: Hmm, actually, I plain just forgot all about it. Blah.

A: See, that’s why I carry all the loot, I mean treasure, I mean money to be made off from precious relics, I mean the good stuff. Yeah, good stuff.

EMF: Soten, retrieve the pendant now.

A: Why do you need the pendant?

EMF: MY own personal business.

A: Can we trade, girl for pendant?

E: What!!! Am I only worth a pendant, hey!! That pendant is mine too! You can’t trade it for me!!!

A: Just asking.

EMF: Soten, these three are buffoons.

S: Not the only one.

EMF: What did you say.

S: Shoot, forgot to say it under my breath. Meant the girl sir.

E: What!

EMF: Enough of this bickering. SOten, dispose of them.

A: HA! SOten can’t do anything. Let’s get him again.

Aistea and Zane and Nobori rush.

S: LIGHT BREAK!!! (Everything turns black.)

A: Whoa, what the hell.

S: Super Super Incredible powerful mode!!!!

Flash of light.

Soten is super now. He’s completely healed and he glows. His staff glows too. (Put glow sticks on it)

EMF: Hmm, to use your true strength. I shall help too. Sword of Dark, break the light!

Turns black again.

N: Again! Can’t see!

Flash of light.

Z: Ahh, blind!

E: Too bright!!!

Eron emerges in battle armor sorta and he wields a sword.

N: Fight again!!!??

A: Let’s do this!!! Zane, take this. (throws his a saw)

Z: Where’d you get this??

A: Secret. Take this too. (Throws him a box that is labeled Electricity)

Z: What’s this?

A: Electricty. Put two and two gether, get Electricty Saw.

N: Electric Saw.

A: Yeah… Electric, aint’ even a word. Anyway, free Evarile. Her life is in danger.

E: Finally, someone notices.

Z: Hey,I notice.

E: You, I’m going to talk to you. Forgot about my pendant! Can’t believe you actually forgot about it!!

Z: Hehe??

N: Let’s go!

Nobori tackles on Soten. Aistea Fights Eron. Zane rushes to Evarile’s cage.

Z: Cut damn saw!

E: Hurry Zane. Aistea and that other guy need help.

Z: I’m going!! But since it’s going to take a while, explain why there’s another guy after you.

E: Isn’t it obvious!

Z: Conceited…

E: NO! Don’t you remember anything I told you?!!

Z: Oh, you mean the pendant is the key to OMNI, a power so great that it had to be split in order to contain it. The power within the Pendant allows spells to be cast, but there isn’t suffiecent energy to back it up. The other part of the power is casted into a human being, where that energy flows onto its decedants. If ever the pendant is with the human who contains the power, the human can use OMNI fully. However, for others to use OMNI, it is said that the pendant must take on either a good or dark aura, and the person containing the other part of the power must match that aura, and all the power will transfer to the pendant, making the pendant itself into OMNI, where therefore any being can use its power. Unfortantely, to find both the pendant and the person is nearly impossible, for who is to know who holds the pendant and who is the person.

E: Yeah, all that. See, that’ me.

N and A: What?!!!!

N: How come you never told us Zane?

A: Yeah!!!??

Z: I didn’t know she was both! You’re both!!!

E: Yeah, can you hurry up and free me now?

Aistea: Agghhhhhh!

N: ooofffffffff!!!

They fly back and hit the cage.

Z: Shit. (He turns around, Soten and Eron advance.)

Z: FUCK THE HELL OFF!!! (Pulls out his gun and starts to fire. Nobori who is weak finishes sawing and Aistea helps Evarile out of the cage.

EMF: STOP!!!!

Everything freezes for a moment.

EMF: Ha, now to kill these impudent brats. (He walks forward. Asitea sword glows, and Asitea gets up.

A: Ha yourself.

EMF: What? How is that possible?

A: Yeah, behold the power of Jijitsu.

EMF: What? That sword?

A: Yeah, didn’t know it could do this either. Unfreeze my friends now!

EMF: Make me.

A: Gladly.

Aistea and Eron fight. Aistea gets a lucky blow and knocks the sword of Eron’s hands. Time resumes. The sword turns into a book

A: So that was what it was.

EMF: Humph! DIE!

Aistea and Eron fight, Eron busted out  a dagger. Zane is still firing but Soten releases REvErSE KAzEE, pulling Zane up into the air and forward. Something drops. Evarile gasps. Nobori jumps for it, only to have Soten smash him with his staff.

S: I have it.

EMF: GOOD! CHANGE HER AND TAKE HER POWER NOW!

S: DARK ENERGY WAVE!

Nobori tries to block it, but is too weak. Evarile is caught and she stays frozen. She moves again, and laughs wickedly. Soten flies toward her and presses the pendant against her head.

E: WHAT ARE YOU AGGHHH!

Evarile slumps to the ground.

Z: NOOO!

He runs forward and shoots right into Soten, really killing him this time. Soten slumps forward and the pendant is shot across the floor. Eron picks it up and laughs.

EMF: HAHAHAH! OMNI IS MINE!

A: Not if I can stop it! (His sword is glowing brightly. HE jumps toward ERon, only to get blown back)

EMF: You can’t. Farewell fools, and farewell to this land!! (Eron disappears)

A: What? It can’t this way!

Nobori winces as he gets up. N: You’re right. We have to stop him. Let’s hurry Zane. Zane?

Zane is over Evarile.

A: Is she still alive?

Z: Yes, she still breathes. But she won’t wake up.

N: Why not?

Z: The power that was split had to be contained.The knowledge of how to use the power was placed into the pendant, and the pure power to use it was placed into a human being. However, to keep the power from unleashing itself upon the human, it was intergrated with the person’s soul.

A: Meaning she may be alive, but

N: the spirit of which she was isn’t there.

Z: Exactly. We have to get her back!

A: But how? And what are we going to do? We already defeated Soten, the main objective, and we have freed Evarile, in a way.

N: That along with the world’s fate is at stake.

They all look at each other and then at Evarile’s face.

Camera slowly zooms out.

End of Kaze no Jijitsu.
