Clarion Lensherr, Tremere Primogen
Image: Clarion appears as an extremely harsh-looking man in his early fifties. He has still retained his aristocratic features, though the loss of his humanity through the ages has resulted in his face draining nearly of all its colour resulting in a frighteningly glacial appearance.

Background: Richter Hemlain was descended from German aristocracy and showed a deep interest in the sciences, particularly human anatomy. With a prodigious tenure at the University of Berlin, Richter seemed to be well on his way to becoming a prominent surgeon. Unfortunately for him, the Tremere got to him first and he was embraced in 1877.
Richter rose steadily through the ranks of the Tremere, espousing and demonstrating the calm conservatism most of come to expect of the clan. He became the apprentice of Vigo, Nicholae’s sire, early in the 20th century and studied widely the arts of Biothaumaturgy.
Clarion has assumed some of Nicholae’s duties as regent in Vistalki. Unlike Nicholae, he himself was and continues to be a conservative voice in the ranks of the vastly innovated Vistalki Tremere. He maintains order, that which is most precious to him.
He believes Nicholae has potential, but is young and untested on the fields of battle. He disapproves of his relationship with the Ventrue Allegra, stating that it is a distraction from his duties to his sect and more importantly to his clan. He also distrusts Jacen Crane the Brujah, believing (correctly) that he is overly ambitious and thus a destabilizing factor within the city, as well as Grant the Gangrel, mostly due to the animosity the two clans have held for each other since the dark ages.
Unknown to all but himself, Clarion regularly reports to Nicholae’s sire, the warlord Vigo, in order to ensure that Nicholae keeps sect goals over his own and clan goals over sect.
Roleplaying Hints: You must maintain order, at all costs. Nicholae is a radical and must be watched carefully. Success is nothing without tradition, without control, though it infuriates you that his gifts exceed yours at times. You must keep your past hidden or else someone would use it against you, you are certain. Always keep one eye over your shoulder and never forget, should you stumble, you will fall. Keep your interest in creating the “Master Race” to yourself. Your research is your own and on one else’s! Hitler’s ideas were flawed. Only through time, patience, and the power of thaumaturgy can true order, true biological perfection, ever be achieved.
