![]() Castle of the Nytingard Rune - This is actrually more of a castle town if anything. The perimeter of the entire town is surronded by an enormous and thick stone wall, put up to keep out fiends as well as followers of the dark god. Houses and various shops line the pristine cobblestone streets and there is a well in the center of the town square. A little ways beyond the square is the castle gates. Withen the gates is a courtyard open to all, stables for Sin's, Roane's, and others that reside in the castle's horses, a field for the horses, a library, and the chambers of Sin and Roane. This town is known for its diversity. Nalgeri - Nalgeri is perhaps one of the largest cities in this world. Even the entrance is riddled with merchants selling goods on blankets. Inside the town, there are hundreds of stores and merchants on the streets. Unlike other towns, this commercial based town is the only one with a large fighting arena. This city is known for its large quantities of rare items sold on the streets. Tuclar - A very quiet village on the fringes of the Plains of Mogmar. Besides a large, stone Alchemy Tower at the edge of town, there's nothing really special about the simple small houses and dirt roads. 13 years ago, this town was destroyed and raided by followers of thge dark god. It was just recently rebuilt and is known for its extensive amounts of knowledge in the arts of magic and alchemy. This is also Roane's birthplace. Barune - An indeed savage and barbaric town. Those who follow the order of the Nytingard Rune, are often punished by death or tortured for the villagers amusement. This ton was said to be built on the very spot where the dark god rose up from the fiery pits of the world below and sat upon his tornado throne. Barune is known for its bloodthristy ways and arts in blacksmithing. Sherien - This ancient and tradition based tribe consists of canine-like anthros/furries. Visitors are welcome but not necessarly treated with respect by the tribe. At a very young age, the children of the tribe start to learn the ways of fighting with weapons, hence it is known for its arts in battle. This is Sin's birthplace. ![]() Shethawe River - A little bit beyond the plains rests this winding river of rapids. Several trees dot the area before the river cascades down a cliffside and into a large pool below. Be careful for the strong and fast moving currents can sweep you off your feet. Edualc Forest - Pretty much your average forest: large tall trees, lush vegitation, ect. Withen these almost mysterious woods runs a babbling brook and there are several clearings. Ruins of Aragnoth - Located on the very fringe of the forest. This was an ancient city of rakastas standing even before the rune was written. It was finaly destroyed when it was raided by an army. It is mostly just broken buildings, toppled houses, and leaning pillars now... Kindalt Mountains - A long range of jagged and steep mountains. There are many icey valleys here as well a large series of spacious caverns. Droggo Swamps - These dank and dark swamps are home to the blood lust Droggo tribe. This place mostly consists of knee deep mud and water as well as large trees whose roots seem to arch over the still surface. ![]() Droggo - These vicious humanoid beings reside only in the swamps. The tribe of the Droggo are known for their brutal sacrafices to the Dark God so it would be wise to steer clear of them unless you wish to grace their bloody altars. Even though they are the ultimate experts of sneaking about in complete silence and their deadly accuracy with long, sharp claws, these creatures don't have much defense besides the frog-like skin on their backs. They have rubbery amphibian like skin, long arms and shorter legs, reptilian shaped heads, and large eyes. Have excellent smell and hearing; poor sight Zikare and Tari'oks - The Zikare and Tari'ok are perhaps the stupidest and weakest monster races in Nytingard. Zikare are short and pudgey little creatures that walk on two legs, have flat and broad heads, tiny eyes, scaley and dry sandy colored skin, and severe underbites with long sharp fangs jutting out from the bottom jaw. Tari'ok are pretty much the same though much larger [larger then a human] and have reddish color fur as well as a mane on their heads. They are relatively weak but since they often attack in large groups, they can do quite a bit of damage. Both have good smell; very poor sight, normal hearing Scavengers/Feral Pets - Unfortunetly, not all pets have a nice home to come to and are brought up in the wild. They end up becoming dangerous and unpredictiable. Scavengers are actrually sort of like mutated small dragons. They have extremely long and sharp fangs and claws, reddish leathery skin, four eyes, and a snake-like head and neck. Have excellent sight and smell; poor hearing |
