There are many different species in the world. Here is a list of some of them, although this only lists a few out of hundreds.
Mog-A small timid creature, usually with white fur. They have wings and learn to fly at a certain age. They enjoy eating Kupo nuts more than anything.
Human-The most common being on the planet. They are very intelligent and reproduce at an alarming rate. They have a destructive nature.
Cetra-A long gone race. They had many powers that humans are incapable of having and knew many things that humans are oblivious to. They were nomadic.

Machine-Although not a species, there are many variations of machine throughout the world. They come in all kinds of shapes, sizes, colors, etc. and are almost always harmful or able to be used in a bad way.
Monster-This category pertains to all monsters not listed as there would be too many. Mosnters come in all shapes and forms.
Gi-The rival tribe of Nanaki's. They desire nothing more than to destroy the other clan and Cosmo Canyon, but were all defeated single-handedly by Nanaki's father, Seto. Now they live only as ghosts in a cave behind Cosmo Canyon.
Nanaki Tribe-They are very intelligent and walk on all fours. Their fur is a reddish color and are fierce fighters if need be, although they would rather live in peace. They tend to live for a very, very long time. When Nanaki was 42 in human years he was only considered a pup in his tribe.
Tonberry-They are green and wear cloaks. They have large eyes that bulge out and are small in size. They carry a knife in one hand and a lantern in the other. They are slow but deadly and can kill with a single stab of their knife.
Cactuar-Small cactus people. Although quirky they can and are dangerous, especially if they unleash their barrage of needles upon you.
