Chocobos are a very common creature. They are found nearly everywhere in the world. Chocobos are very calm unless provoked or attacked. Normal breeds tend to be yellow. Chocobos are nimble,intelligent and are therefor difficult to catch. When or if you are riding them you should be careful not to get thrown off as they can reach high speeds. When attempting to catch a chocobo you must be at one of the chocobo tracks locations around the world. The easier way though would be to contact a Chocobo Breeder and purchase one. If you want to catch one there are several ways to do so:





Chocobo Capturing Items:
Chocobo Rope- This rope will aid in your capture of a chocobo, although its nearly impossible to catch one with just this rope alone. Can only be purchased here.

Chocobo Scent- This spray will give you the smell of a chocobo. It will help in not scaring away a chocobo if it catches your scent and will help you to get closer to rope them. Can only be purchased here.

Chocobo Materia- This materia helps attract chocobos when equipped. It is convenient when you dont want to buy several different things to capture them, although its more expensive. Greens are recommended to occupy one so they dont escape. These can only be bought from Chocobo Breeders, unless there are none.
